I prefer setting v-sync to off. What v sync does is keeps ur fps equal to your refresh rate but if you set it to off you'll get more fps than usual I highly prefer setting vsync to off. He didn't mention it but yes to improve performance just go for it.

Lol bro Tu toh maha pagal hai , monitor hi 60 Hz hai toh v-sync off Karne se kaise jyada FPS milenge , FPS will only come according to your monitor refresh rate
