Thank you for memory reminder Jamie, because when I first started fishing 50 years ago as a 5 year old it was my job to gather a couple of mole hills in a bucket for my dad and uncle to use as a bait carrier on the River Severn with great success as I have had over the years using it on both pools and rivers.

If you don't get too much peat with the worms I'd use some really fine garden dirt depending on the location. The best I've seen is terre d'arthur what jon arthur uses

Been using mole hill earth for years, very good for cupping in when fishing for bream.

Scared shitless of worms so no chance of me using them. I must be the only angler scared of them.
