I ran about 300 miles on my tempo next %. Had them for 14 months. I noticed tears in the outsole under the pods when I was flexing them to inspect wear. Contacted Nike, got a full refund. Loved the shoe. Bought half price alphafly. Next level.

This is my experience also- bottom sole area just behind the air pod where the toe box bends has two 1/2” tears. I have about 40 miles on these

What I like about the Tempo next is that because of the air zoom, you can go crazy on hard surfaces and it still feels like your running on marshmallows. No worries of getting shin splints ever.

    Great comparison, thanks Filip.
My experience with the Zoom Fly is very very similar to yours, in that I fatigue and feel sore in the forefoot after a similar distance. But it does feel as though it will last a very long time, as you mention.
On the Tempo Next% - I actually managed to get 500 miles out if them, and they weren't nearly as beaten up as yours. The Next% is so far my longest-lasting shoe!
It's very interesting because the Tempo Next% seems to either go on-and-on, or wear remarkably quickly depending on running style and terrain. All to do with the air pods...
I did a review on Reddit, and the comments were very much divided with regards to longevity.

Never tried Tempo %. But agree the ZF4 feels funny first few miles. If I didn’t debut it on a 20 mile race/training run, I might not love it and trust it as much as I do now for the tempo-marathon pace performance. Don’t use it for speed work or easy. Just long tempo and above.

Your zoom fly experience is just like mine. Uncomfortable initially but eventually goes away as you're running.

Prefer my tempo % more than my alphafly . ...fit like a glove, even with punctured Airpod on one of the shoes, still my go to shoe.

I felt I had to go with the ones found on SALE, plus its my first carbon plated shoe. So Nike Fly 4 it is for the moment....

I would change the Shoe insules on the Zoom fly 4. The ones that came with the sure hurt me feet and almost gave me a blister. New insules now the shoe is brand new.

Compromised Air Pod = retired shoe. Trying to run in the shoes afterwards is going to cause issues...just a matter of when and how bad.

Zoom fly for Daily trainer for marathon training, would you recommend? I'm prone to lower leg injuries.

Nike are kinda garbage these days....After Alphafly and Vaporfly the range is crap. Just get a pair of Saucony endorphin 3...or 2 (cheaper) Awesome shoes.
