World Horse Welfare rehome more horses than any other horse charity in the UK, with more than 300 horses rehomed in 2014 and around 1,600 in homes across the UK at any one time.
Our horses are rehomed from our four Rescue and Rehoming Centres, which are located at Belwade Farm in Aberdeenshire, Penny Farm in Lancashire, Hall Farm in Norfolk and Glenda Spooner Farm in Somerset.

Anyone can have a bay or a sorrel, but a piebald like Hercules is head and shoulders above the rest.

He's so quiet. And that is why equine therapie is so great.He helped you over that difficult time, and i for one thank him for that. Thank you Hercules. Please tell him from me thar he is a real hero.

I absolutely love this story! Horses are so empathetic anyway, they are the only other animal that can legally be a service animal after all (well minis anyway lol). And I think rescues are even more so. I am so glad she is ok now and how wonderful that this amazing pony was able to help her. There are so many forgotten and neglected animals out there who have SO much love to give if they were just given a chance. God bless these two, I just love them and I think he is a gorgeous pony!
Its like they know what they came from and are forever grateful! we see street dogs with that same devotion and attitude!

If you have many of an animal you know what a stereotypically beautiful one would be, (physically that is). She seems like someone who has had horses her whole life, and loves them and cares for them so well.
I’ve always had border collies, and whilst the oldest one who has now passed was the dog of a lifetime, so sweet, incredibly smart and independent, would swim in the water for hours, so obedient.
She was beautiful but I was realistic that our next dog was in fact more stereotypically pretty as a border collie, she is such a pretty dog. It goes without saying we love all our dogs so much but of course our second dog looks more like the stereotypically pretty border collie, with the bent ears and nice blaze marks and a really nice face, that’s not to say the other isn’t also the cutest thing you’ve seen.
here in the usa he would be alot of money just because of his color
HOW is he not “attractive”?!? My favourite colour of horse/pony is a Pinto/Paint Colouration. But that’s because the first horse I ever fell in love with was a Pinto. His name was Trotter. And he had QUITE the attitude problem. And to this day, if I fall in love with any animal, I fall in love with the ones with attitude problems lol 😂 A horse that needs no special care or work , is lovely for most people. But my personality is such that if I DONT have to put any effort in on my part, I find it slightly boring. Not that I don’t love all horses! I do. I love them all very much! Just that’s what I would need in my own ridden companion horse.
