I have very curly mid back length hair and just cut bangs.. I love it🙌🏻you can even hide them easily to the side (weaving the front curls into the side ones) on days when you don't fancy them 👍🏻100%recommend

I have a lot nappier curls, I’m half black but I found the step by step process a lot simpler than other channels, I’ll obviously need to use different products but this just made me figure out the right steps to healthier curls a million times easier. I found my curly hair twin!! I just recently cut my hair short, a tad longer than yours but actually will be going back eventually to get it shorter. But I’m hardcore struggling getting my underneath pieces to curl 😭 it’s only been 3 weeks into my CG journey, and I can’t complain too much because I’ve already noticed so much of a difference, just wish those darn pieces under would cooperate 😂
Ooooh thats exciting!! Nice to meet you twin :) The biggest thing that helped me (I actually had the opposite problem where the top didn't curl up) is using a hair gel and then scrunching the heck out of it 😂
Also have you heard of plopping? That has also helped me a lot.
Dude SAME!! I've been working on cgm for close to a year and so far my curls are fondong their way a little better being shorter
Okay I know this comment is old, however I have the same problem with the underside of my hair just not curling, and I’ve learned through the years that that is just the way my curl pattern is. If the ends are peaking out beneath your curls and you don’t like it, ask your stylist to cut the bottom layer a bit shorter! My stylist recommended this to me and I did it, and I don’t regret it one bit! Sometimes your hair is just stubborn and you have to adapt to it. You got this girl! :)

My hair is so weird. I have really big and loose waves around my head, and yet the part were you would cut bangs is abruptly curlier, with little defined curls.
It’s so drastic it literally looks fake😂.
So I will do this routine only in the hair upfront.

• Always give it a shake after styling and drying
• Try to do everything with your fingers (nature's brush) it looks more natural
• flaxseed gel is amazing and affordable for every lenght ♡

So pretty! 25 minutes just to dry hair seems like a long time for me, I don't have that kind of patience. But I have to admit the result looks great on you.
Yeah it can be a pain sometimes but its always worth it in the end! you can always just let your hair air dry for similar results :)

My bangs get separated like curtains and no matter what i do, i doesnte change but when it grew out longer it got curlier 🙃 i love bangs because i have a huge forehead but idk what to do :(

I feel you!! personally what I do when my bangs separate from each other is get a small hair tie and tie them together (only when I’m at home I do this) . Try wearing your bangs often so they will get used to their new position. I too have the issue with my bangs being curlier when longer, I find that either finger coiling or using a denman brush helps my hair have more definition. Though don’t stress too much cause curly hair is a journey and having a big forehead is fine! I have one too and I think you are beautiful :) hope this helped

Great length and I love the bangs. I have gray, sort of fine hair that gets top heavy. I air dry, but do the upside down thing. What cream and gel do you use?

Have you tried lighter lotions vs the custard cream?
What differences do you notice? So far my thinner lotions haven't worked too well and I'm frizzy. Idk if a custard would be better cuz I'm afraid it will weigh it down.
I think it very much depends on the custard you use, I have actually had the same thing with some lotions. It just leaves my hair frizzy and not defined. That being said I have only tried this specific custard so that is really the only one I can recommend. I also have very fine hair and I find that this custard does not weigh it down at all

I thought the same thing! But it has been so freeing and made me feel so confident. Plus your curls will look amazing after a nice chop like that :) I would say go for it and the rock the heck out of it!

Thank you! I have styled my friends hair who has super thick hair and my biggest tips would be, more product and keeping wetting hair throughout styling since it will take a lot longer!

Thank you so much 🫶🏻 yes sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t. Plopping when my hair was this length would have definitely made my curls more tight and defined. So it really just depends on the look you want. Plopping also cuts down drying time!

I have curly hair similar to yours but with wider curls, im thinking to cut it very short,but i have a problem with styling it i dont know which product to use, so i just use oil to give it a defined curls idk if it makes sense.
I would invest in some good hair gel and maybe a curling cream. It will do wonders for your hair!

Hey! Thank you dear!! Yes it was wet but as I am styling my hair it tends to dry quickly. And if curly hair is touched when its only damp the curls tend to be stringy and frizzy. So making my hands wet prevents the frizz and helps the curls to clump up better! Hope this helps :)

Hi! I try something new everytime i run out but back then I was using Function of Beauty. Right now I am using Live Clean's Argan line!
How long does it take to do the full routine?
Styling takes about 10 mins and then drying time is about 1-3 hours depending on if I diffuse or air dry!

Hi Rony! I'm not sure it would have the same effect because a shower cap won't absorb anything ... You could give it a try tho and see how it goes? Let me know if you try it :)

I try to use warm water. Cold water would be better but I can't sacrifice my warm showers haha
