Amy Rose could probably appear in the film at least to add female mobians protagonists, Rouge the bat will undoubtedly appear given both the presence of both Shadow and Knuckles, then for the post credit scene the two candidates are either Silver the hedgehog or Metal Sonic.
i get why amy wasn´t in the first sonic movie because in that movie we were you just getting characters introduced plus it was first movie so it wouldn´t make sence for her to be in it, and sonic movie 2 i am not to sure

I dont want amy in sonic movie 3 we have to introduce her properly like in 2025 knuckles series season 2 so yeah, oh and rouge needs to be in knuckles season 2 so in sonic 4 it will be more of a sonic movie and probably blaze could be in sonic 4 i will just accept that but silver is definitely in sonic 4 and i do NOT want cream or big in sonic 4 just in a spin-off like Tails and that's what i want in the franchise
