Yes, the rain did not allow for the packing up experience we were hoping for - but in a sense it worked out because we had to learn something new - dealing with it all in the rain! Thanks for watching!

Pleased you got back to test what you originally wanted to do. For me, I think I'd prefer life in the van rather than backpacking. I love nature, but not heavy backpacks lol. The campground has some great level hardstanding and seating areas for you though. Cool that you saw a deer.
Yes, the van sure is a lot easier (and more comfortable lol) but we LOVE LOVE LOVE being in the woods - we had a blast and can't wait to try again! Thanks for watching!

Any worries or concerns on returning to the backpacking? Haha you all seem to have had a blast just like teenagers going to the camping. The tents are quickly built. Are you all happy with the dinner? hahah In spite of sprinkles, I am glad to know you all satisfied with this camping. wowowow coyote sounds stary dogs. BTW, What brand of hiking poles do you use? K7S mentioned about it. What backpacking gears did you test? Well, I look forward to more backpacking vids..yahoo!

That looked like a great way to test your gear and get out there for an overnight. How neat to see the deer, hear the coyotes and the owl.
