You guys are amazing! I love your videos! You are with me anywhere I travel even when I cannot fly, I enjoy watching your videos and get info an training for when I can! Cheers from Amsterdam! Keep up the good work.
No, except if you got a radar lock on the target but the Harrier doesn't have a radar so no. IFF is possible with the F15C and the F/A-18 in the future.
Just like my ex.
”It just goes for whatever emits the most heat and can witch target at last minute.”

Welcome!
to summarize the video for those who are too lazy:
1. Select the AIM-9
2. put target in circle
3. Common sense
Havent flown harrier in a while, has something changed, had sidearms and aim9m loaded, selected etc but no tone from either weapon
Any idea what range it can lock in a head on engagement? I would think it's less than a rear view.
I've done 5-6 mile head on shots I believe.
@@grimreapers Thanks! Provided you can get a lock I also would think max range would increase because the targets coming at you not going away?
Is there IFF on any missile?
No, except if you got a radar lock on the target but the Harrier doesn't have a radar so no. IFF is possible with the F15C and the F/A-18 in the future.
