If you think about it, their personal trauma’s (Bev’s abuse from her dad, Bill’s loss of his brother and the guilt he felt, the overbearing mother, etc...) are the source of Pennywise’s power. That’s why he changes into their worst fear
The 1st one didn't have many jump scares either....I went through whole movie without getting startled.... honestly it's more like a plot intensive story than a horror one for me....

Uh... Bev’s father was a little more than just “creepy and domineering”. As he says in the film “do they know that you’re my girl?” Huge plot point that you guys kinda didn’t address
He was an abuser. But kid friendly is good, scare kids, keep their innocence, the guy did fine. We all know there are 9 year olds unattended on tablets all day... it was a nice effort.
Imagine making an IT movie with young adults 😂 Young adult: you can’t scare me! I’ve got nothing to fear!!! Pennywise: oooooh really? *transforms* Young adult: nooooo it can’t be!?!? It’s impossible!!! I paid my student loans last year!!!!
@-Lloyd- there is a probability because pennywise landed on earth as an asteroid, and that asteroid could be the asteroid that impacted on earth millions of years ago causing dinosaurs toextinct!
I read the book back in1987 but I also listened to the audiobook read by Steven Weber about 6 years ago. If you don't want to read IT. Then I highly recommend you listen to the audiobook. She was more terrifying in the movie

The fact that I've watched both movies more then once and it never gets old also Can't wait for part 3✨

Especially a story that's existed for decades and already had a tv movie made about it lol.
You do know that they're breaking down the story for those of whom have not read the original novel written by stephen king let alone the movie.
@@davidtristan6749 They should probably rename it "Breaking down IT" instead of acting like they've cracked the da vinci code lol
@@eon001 Ah, the Da Vinci Code. Time enough to write out a secret code before dying. Not enough to write "Jesus had kids".

@@vito3608 I heard IT's a giant space turtle or something like that in the book n he goes from world to world doing the same thing.

Bobby from what i remember the turtle is an entirely different being than IT.

@@dantederi5062 ah fair enough. As I said I heard it was something like that. I've not read it myself yet tbf. I've been told to though. So what is the giant turtle if you don't mind me asking? N actually what is IT? He's an entity from space too?

Ha!Jokes on you,I have UNLIMITED DATA!!
If you think about it, their personal trauma’s (Bev’s abuse from her dad, Bill’s loss of his brother and the guilt he felt, the overbearing mother, etc...) are the source of Pennywise’s power. That’s why he changes into their worst fear
Who thinks they should continue to make another “IT” movie every 27 years
Jack Moltane agreed
I do
No I love the movies and I am very impatient even tho they did that before I was born in 1989
Hell naw
But it died unless there were more of them
I would love to watch this movie but I f****** hate jump-scares
NAO in chapter 2 jump scares aren’t bad at all, i hate scary movies and they aren’t bad i promise
The 1st one didn't have many jump scares either....I went through whole movie without getting startled.... honestly it's more like a plot intensive story than a horror one for me....
Thunder Bird mhm that’s why i like it so kuch
IT was so boring. It wasn’t scary at all. I saw it to get scared but it was too bland. Don’t get me wrong, it was creepy, but just not scary
@JWMGaming nah if the movie is good you don't have to rely on a few jump-scares
Beverly: i have to leave, i’m sorry but i don’t have time to explain why
Tom: no it’s ok i completely understand

Me and my grandma watched the movie and at that scene we said “get yourself a person like that to trust you”We thought Yeah hes a nice person, kind, trusting”. Then we said “oh never mind he sucks”
I found Stephen King's portrayal of Young Love to be the most frightening thing in the Novel. It'd make Marquis de Sade blush
Who fells bad for that cat that had to see Georgie get dragged down in the sewer by pennywise
That cat probably didn’t think much about it other then “what is that stupid human doing and where is it going”

Pennywise: “ight imma head out”

Bruh👌🤣👌😆
Uh... Bev’s father was a little more than just “creepy and domineering”. As he says in the film “do they know that you’re my girl?” Huge plot point that you guys kinda didn’t address
Adults will get it but I guess this video didn't address it because they wanted to remain kid friendly even tho it's a horror movie
He was an abuser. But kid friendly is good, scare kids, keep their innocence, the guy did fine. We all know there are 9 year olds unattended on tablets all day... it was a nice effort.
Those were the scariest parts for me
People are just trying to sweep it under the carept that there was some definite sexual abuse going on
@@546-apoorvaranjan7 uhhh yeah thats was the idea. Gotta keep the video under the "kid friendly" tab because more viewers = more money

No, pennywise ate them all, he was hungry 😜
-Lloyd- bruh wut?
I read the book back in1987 but I also listened to the audiobook read by Steven Weber about 6 years ago. If you don't want to read IT. Then I highly recommend you listen to the audiobook. The old classic1990 miniseries and the 2017 adaptation were really great but Steven King's novel is waaay more sick and disturbing than the movies lol. Seriously though, it's an epic masterpiece of storytelling you won't ever forget.
What if it was called “it: you’ll float two” instead of chapter two
Good one
Or ITs Return
