@@kyleebacheall2453 France has beaten Brasil 3-0 and Russia now , with the A team. France has beaten others 3-2 with B team. Main goal remain the Olympics. It's good idea France coach makes all players to play, VNL is the opportunity to prepare for Olympics. Poland is a great team though.

The last time FRA played like this was during World League where they won the championship. They win each game not because of powerful spikes but because of consistent good plays, less errors and smart moves. It's more of a mind game for them. Plus they have gems in their team, Ngapeth & Grebenikov ♥ They are sooo ready for the Olympics next month!!! Bonne chance!

It looks like France has started using their "A" lineup in the last few big matches. To me it looks like Russia is still trying to figure out which players to put where. I hope Russia can be competitive in the rest of the VNL, but they have a good amount of young players still. France vs. Poland will be epic though!

I think Russia was not really trying to win it. Started with Muserskiy in the opposite then Mikhaylov then Polataev. Volkov was also benched for Bogdan. Volvich wasn't used but he played majority of matches before. They have Iavkovlev coming so this is really a deep team. Liberos have to improve though as they have such strong attackers and blockers
Blizard has a very clean service and is a really smart setter

Having watched men matches daily, it is apparent that Brazil and Poland are up in the ranking for gold and silvet finish. Going for the bronze is I dont know. Iran Slovenia , France, and Russia had won matches but what is certain is , one of these will have the bronze.

Typical Russia, they won first and then lost the rest, without Yakovlev, Samelvuo give Pankov more playing time than Kobzar, interestingly this time Vlazov has more court than Kurkaev, Vovich or Musersky, Mikhaylov to Volkov, this line up make peoples confuse except for Kliuka, he look tired. Btw, France is amazing with their system, they already beat Brazil and now Russia, we will see if they can repeat it for next matchs against Poland, USA, Serbia and Iran.
