Hi Prajwal, There are many washrooms in the entire Jatayu premises, but as per my observations, wherever I have used the washrooms, I didn't see any shower facility there.. But the washrooms are very big as well as neat and clean, and with all facilities.. so if someone can adjust a bit and try to freshen up, then they can do it with little challenges in the existing condition itself. Thank you 😊👍🏼
@@TravelYatraVlog Thank you so much for your reply and valuable information. One last question is I was worried after seeing the opening timing of kodanda rama temple at jatayu on internet- showing from 12-4:30 p.m temple will remain closed where as we are expected to reach at 12 noon there. I also need to have darshan of lord Rama there , so I checked with jatayu help desk they said worship is closed from 12-4:30 but you can see lord Rama from outside temple with a glass door. So is it correct? If I go inbetween that time , can I have darshan to lord from distance??
Yes, you can have darshan from outside anytime. During our visit, I didn't notice the timing, but it was open that time when we visited (I think it was around 11am or so..) But even if it's closed, they said correct that you can have a view from outside. And the "Rama foot print" view also you can have anytime. It's also in an open area covered with glass. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Great video with lots of information. Cable car ke safety ke bare me kuch information mil sakta hai kya, I am a stroke survivor, doosre Malayalam videos me thoda darakar bataya hai about weather etc. Please share your thoughts
Hi Mohan, As per my experience, the cable car ride was very safe. Mainly it's just a 5 min ride. So no worry at all. Moreover is a closed cabin with ample space and thebride was also very smooth without any jerk or friction force.. So Just go ahead. You will enjoy it. Thank you 😊👍
Thank you very much my friend 🤗👍🏼 Yes you have cloak room near the ticket counter itself. And I think just for a glance I have shown it in this video also. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Yeas I am about to visit and planning the same but was not sure that is it doable or not. But now after watching this preety much sure. Thank you soooo much.
Yes, drones are not restricted in this place... And regarding tickets, there is no specific charge mentioned for drones. So just as we take our mobile phones, similarly I think you can take the drones too... Thank you 😊👍🏼
Ok, that means drones are strictly prohibited. Actually I didn't notice anything specific rules and regulations for the drone, So I was not sure about it. But now I checked and it's strictly prohibited.. (the special permission may be given to few people after email and proper verification) Thank you 😊👍🏼
Yes you can keep your big luggages also there in the cloak roam which is just next to the ticket counter. (I didn't keep any luggage during my travel, but I saw few trolleys also inside the cloakroom area.) So I think there will be no issues in keeping even big luggages. (Afterall they are charging a huge amount in the ticket)😄 And its free. Just they will give you a token and you can proceed. Thank you 😊👍
@@TravelYatraVlog thank you so much! After searching n no of videos I finally found such a crisp, short and informative video regarding Jatayu Earth centre. Really appreciate this! :)
Thank you very much Ananya for watching and liking the video and appreciating the content. Also please check the entire varkala series, and I will suggest you to must visit Varkala if you are planning for Jatayu. You can do Mangrove Forest kyaking in Panayur area of varkala. It's amazing. Thank you once again for your appreciating comment 🤗✌️
@@TravelYatraVlog sure!! Can you please tell me what are the public transport options from varkala bus stand to varkala beach or cliff? I saw autorickshaws are available..but they will charge some 150 bucks just for 3 kms!! Is there any bus available?
Yes Ananya, from the bus stand you will also get buses till "bungalow Mukku Bus stop" for just 15 rupees. You can search this stop in Google map. This stop is very near to the Varkala beach as well as North Cliff area. So if you don't have much luggage with you, then you can take the bus and get down at thid stop, and from here you have to walk a little bit to reach your hotel if you have booked your hotel in the north Cliff area. But if you are with family or kids or aged people, or if you have too much luggage with you, then it's better to go via auto. Thank you 😊👍
Jatayu is situated in a small hill top, and I think there is hardly any stay nearby. And even if one or two hotels are there, they will be costly. So if you want to stay near Jatayu rock, then you can search for a hotel near "KSRTC Chadayamangalam bus stand", which is the nearest town area near Jatayu rock (approximate distance is 2 km). Thank you 😊👍🏼
From Kollam you can take a bus till Kottarakkara. And from there you can get another bus till Chadayamangalam. And from there take an auto till uphills to reach jatayu rock. Or another option is to hire a two wheeler. It's just 40 km from Kollam. So if you are travelling solo or as a couple, then just hire a bike from Kollam and ride for 40 km, you will reach jatayu. Thank you 😊👍🏼
