      My family was looking for some rather large property/acreage in Texas and Howell county. We obviously need to reevaluate our choice as I don't want us making a 7 figure investment in an area were police enforce 'feelings'.

    I just called their police dept and asked if they dispatched cops to people who were looking too long at others. They said yes but were unsure if it was misdemeanor or felony. What a joke. I’m sorry Travis

    The biggest problem with this whole encounter is at about 2:43 the dumb dumb hammer said the word victim. Really? How is there a victim when there is no crime. You can set and stare a bikini clad butts and there is still no crime. How idiotic!!!!!

    At 4:40 it suddenly went from "staring" at people to "harassing" them. In his mind, when he thought an ID was possible, it was harmless staring. But when you refused to identity, in his mind, you became more dangerous and were now harassing people.

      He called in to see if complainant wanted to pursue charges. If yes things would have gotten worse. Cops seem to be willing to invent violations for callers. I their eyes, once called its an ( investigation ) no if ands or butts.

    What a crazy accusation? Starring is now a crime? I am bewildered. Asserting your 4th amendment right is essential. The first thing this an officer says is " ID". Most people don't know you don't have to show it expect at a traffic stop or upon a legal arrest. Great the cop left. I am thrilled you posted information about your pending case and you Go Fund Me.     They so willingly accept anonymous calls to initiate criminal investigations and demand ID but aren't willing to respect 4th Amendment Rights when someone tries to use them. They don't know who they are dealing with, that's for sure.

    How could they possibly know you were staring without staring at you ?
    I had the same problem without the police being involved. I walked out my home and noticed a young man looking at me, after locking the front door and needing to walk in the same direction as the guy still looking at me who had now stopped walking so I passed him and looked back and he was still looking at me and he said stop looking at me. Lol
    We nearly got into a fight but as I was taking my bag off my back he started to call for back up. I laughed and continued on my way.

    Officer Manning had the crust to say "Let's be real here". This policeman was so far from being real that his lines could've been lifted from a Beckett play. Travis did his usual good job of trying to make the police acknowledge how absurd they can be.

      I honestly haven’t heard anything this dumb since my 2 sons were very young. That usually started with the ‘I’m not touching you.’ and ended with ‘MOM! He’s still staring at me!’.
      (Road trips were such a treat. NOT!)

    Cop did not investigate shit! Showed up and started saying you were doing something he knew to be fact. Cops need to learn to instigate before saying a crime was ever committed. This is why everyone should record the police!

      ​@@kurtwetzel154 Honestly though... The cop here quickly aborted his attempt to (improperly) demand ID, didn't escalate the encounter further, remained calm, polite and reasonably professional, ultimately left without getting his ID... I truly wish more cops were just like Officer Manning.
