This worked so quick and easily (there was two of us) I had movers move my old sofa into my house and it is wider than the new one so I was frustrated because I was like “How did they do that?” Spent like 30 minutes getting frustrated, watch this 1:26 long video and got my new sofa in the house in under 2 minutes and my old one out in 2 minutes! What others have said is absolutely true! I have a new couch coming in 2 days that's much larger than my current and a tricky and tight fit to get it in through the door. I I've watched so many videos trying to find helpful ones, and yours was the only one that is actually helpful and looks like it might work for my situation as well. I've shared your video with my helpers as well, so fingers crossed we're sitting on it in my living room in about 42 hours or so :) Thanks!!
@@xiaolingsundberg9182 I sure did! It was tricky, and at one point I thought it wasn't going to happen, but we took our time and surprisingly got a very large couch through a not so large doorway lol Good luck with yours :)
@@xiaolingsundberg9182 you're very welcome. If it helps, the couch was 45in wide by 100in long, and the door we moved it through is 32in wide. We also had a half wall about 4 and a half feet in that we had to clear. It was a tight squeeze but our patience paid off :)

Good video, I learned a simple way to avoid all this, because I moved so many people. When you buy furniture buy simple things, make sure it's not heavy, if it has pullout bed forget it, duel recliner forget it. Just remember anything you buy comes and goes eventually you need to get rid of it too.

Best video! His video is best explained. I'm one person taking my sofa out my front door. I rented two furniture dolly's and with one of them. I was able to get the sofa out on my own. Using the dolly to help lift and roll the as I pulled it through the door.
At first I thought he was doing it by himself, but then I saw the person on the other side and I was like: "Oh, thank goodness! I was a bit worried." Great video, thank you!
Okay thanks that helps if you're bringing out a couch that you're gonna throw away. What if it's a new couch going in the house? Are you gonna drag it all over the floor like that and damage it, cause that's exactly what will happen if done like this video. That couch is gonna have to be lifted up in order to avoid damage.
If my door is 28 and my sofas back is 28 will this angle work. It’s looks like sofa will be difficult to get through even though both are 28 in because there is a trim in a usual angle around my door.
