In case of severity it is not affecting the user flow means positive scenario is working but if user can send -1000Rs then receiver bank will debit that money instead of credit, so that it should be resolve as soon as possible that's why it is HIGH PRIORITY AND MEDIUM SEVERITY BUG. But if there are the bugs which are already of High priority & severity are pending then the condition will again change.
Hi Sir, When the bug found in the production environment and as you mention that bug is critical then we don't need to rollback due to the big client business flow would be impacted.
Priority and severity should be HIGH only We should also check the prod build and see if this is only happening in UAT or both. If the same behavior is on prod then we should connect with Dev and fix this issue as soon as possible

Sir, (I will first test this below mentioned scenario) since it is banking application and user can login only through his account so after providing valid password, only transaction possible is pf debit type so there is no possibility of a case where a person entered a negative amount and it is being debited from another persons account directly and credited to the login account. I can see only 2 possible scenario, transaction will succeed and transaction will not succeed.
