Mera jo Footing tha wo Trapezoidal tha. Contractor ne pehle Simple footing ki tarah flat part ko cast kar diya, ab 1 din ke baad Slope cast kar raha hai. Aise karne se Trapezoidal footing ka strength kya bachega? Slope to ab Flat surface ke upar mix hoga nahi kyunki neeche ka part already dry ho gaya hai. Pls help.

Why should we dig the soil to start foundation ? (Is it because the soil is compact as we go on digging ?)
We in north east have very loose soil after digging 3-4 feet of digging , in my plot I got pure loose sand after three feet !
Now what should I do ? I want to construct 2 storied building 40' x20' , should I put up a complete RCC slab with steel fabrication 40x20 and start construction ? (At least it would help in condition of soil liquifaction .
We are in a severe earthquake prone zone ?

Plinth height (3 f) will help in flood situation, from serpentile/ Reptile . Since it is (G + 2) building. For Foundation height should be more than 3 feet (upto 4 to 6 feet)...
