Thank you. I've been practicing the major scales on my own by making up my own fingering. It's getting more comfortable and my speed is improving, but my fingering is not quite the same as yours. Should I now relearn those scales using your fingering or should I continue doing them the way I have been? Will that affect my progress in any way? Thanks.
The fingering I use is what I was taught by my teachers. You might consider using that fingering and see if it makes a difference. It might prove to be more comfortable once you get used to it.
