Hi Trevor, The cutter is being released slow as stock arrives in Australia. The best thing to do is to go to the Mixshop and put your name down as wanting a cutter. Anybody notice how the instructions show this storing all neat with pieces nesting perfectly. I’m not experiencing it like that. Anybody know what I’m talking about and know how to nest it for storage? The little two page quick start guide is where I’m seeing this.
Hi Vangelina09, thank you for your message. I know what you are referring to and storing it neatly. I do a Monday night cook along on my ThermoKitchen Facebook Page. It is 6pm (AEST) so Im not sure how that works out to where you are, but you are more than welcome to pop in and say Hi and I will show you how the Cutter stores neatly.

I am finding it hard to find videos showing how you cut slim potato into fries
You won’t be able to cut fries with this accessory, the best you can do is slice and then cut the slices into fries.

Magimix Cook Expert offers an optional fry cutting kit for the food processor accessory. When the 10mm slicing disc is installed underneath the fry cutting blade it dices all in one go. So quick!

They must really have issues keeping it in stock. In the US it's still sold out while in Portugal mine just arrived. I'm going to have to pack it and haul it back and forth apparently.
Thank you for this but you didn't explain how to use with the TM5 🤔 I am finding us TM5'ers are tending to be forgotten now the TM6 is an entity. I paid $2k for my TM5 and can't justify buying a TM6 😢

@@ThermoKitchen That really isn't an answer to my question. I would have liked you to show how to use the cutter with the TM5 please. It was just glossed over. Everything was geared to the TM6 which many don't have.
@@wolfgangwoldt1941 Hi, It is really easy to use with the TM5. I'm sorry I can't demonstrate it as I don't have access to a TM5.
You install the cutter attachment using the same method. Put the blade in with the light grey coloured side up for grate. Then to select thin grate you select speed 4 (forward blade) to do thick grate, select speed 4 (reverse blade)
To slice you turn the blade over so the slate colour is up, this is the slicing side. Then to select thin slice you select speed 4 (forward blade) to do thick slice, select speed 4 (reverse blade)

May I ask the price of this baby in South African rand
I recently got just the cutter (not the main Thermomix machine) for 99 Euros. You can do the conversion of that in Rand. The main Thermomix costs about 1,400 Euros where I am.
