I really like the way this game plays and I look forward to getting a copy. I just wish it had some more art on the boards and cards. There is a LOT of white space in this game that could have been put to better use. Outside of that, it looks like a lot of fun. Thanks Rahdo!
I just tried this out on BoardGameArena after watching the Shut Up and Sit Down review and really liked it! I am probably going to have to get a real copy of this. I think my wife would enjoy it as a two player game.

Interesting that every review i've watch has such great things to say about this game and yet, BBG has them ranked so low. Maybe because it's still so new?
The BGG Geek Rankings is a combination of the game's average rating along with it's total number of ratings. This game has an average rating of 8.21 which is very high, but it's only has 737 ratings. As more people play the game and rate it, it will continue to move up the rankings, even if it's average rating drops some.
As does your average chess set. Minimalism is often a goal. Too many games thow a bunch of art onto the components that can even mess with the playability. I am looking at you, Agra.
@@TorIverWilhelmsen I can't agree. Abstract games tend to have no themes and that's okay. This isn't an abstract game though. There is a theme and the actions you take connect you with the theme. So why wouldn't the art further help with that? That does not make sense to me sorry.

For instance, _Gizmos_ has a unique, funny drawing on every card, but practically no-one I have played it with have bothered with looking at anything other than the numbers, icons and frame color when playing. And plenty of games (Yedo, Crisis at least in my collection) have two-sided boards, one with the fancy art you want, and one that is functional. There is a reason for that.

I like the minimalist look focusing on the gameplay. Too many fluffy artsy games out there already.

yeah, i can't stress enough, there's nothing wrong or bad about the ac at all... just personally wasn't our fave thing :)
