The Queen's speech at US State Banquet in honour of Donald Trump

- President Donald Trump has attended a state banquet hosted in his honour by the Queen at Buckingham Palace.
Alongside the President, the First Lady Melania, and members of the Royal Family, the Queen welcomed around 170 guests, including Prime Minister Theresa May.
Both President Trump and the Queen gave speeches which included a mention to the US and UK’s common values and strong links.

Despite all the bitter rumors, the Queen and the President and family were welcomed warmly by the Royal Family. The Queen is such a classy lady! Melania, Kate and Ivanka also looked very regal and officially Royal! Kudos to the ladies!

All of the crown jewels belong to the Monarch. Other royals only wear them with the Queens permission. The Queen did give the lovers knot tiara to Diana as a present, meaning only Diana used it, but it was still part of the crown jewels, and when Charles and Diana divorced, the tiara could no longer be used by her, and she was not a member of the family.
It belongs to the Queen, who loaned it to Diana and now to Catherine.

There he was falling asleep during the Queen's speech. As an American I was so embarrassed for America. The Queen loved the Obamas. They laughed a lot together. Long live the KIng now.
I want to know what they had to eat
Halibut as first course, then lamb as second course and a strawberry dessert followed by fresh fruit, coffee and petit-fours. The lamb had herb stuffing and was served with vegetables and a port sauce. I don't remember what was served with the halibut. Nothing really outstanding (after all, it is a British dinner, not a French one).
