The fact that they literally gave the Dark Star a whole original battle theme is so satisfying. I just couldn't take it seriously with that happy go lucky Boss battle theme. Now this theme shows how menacing the Dark Star is!

Man.I love how the Airway looks in this game and love how they gave Dark Star a theme...and I don't to be that guy (girl in my case) as I usually don't complain about this, but what on earth did they do to it's battle?It's attacks are stupid slow now...

I think they overall made the battles a bit slower paced for newer players.

While I guess technically it is the final inside Bowser boss (not counting Dark Fawful + Dark Star Core at the end) , it is a bit lackluster. But hey, a remake’s a remake.
I just want to see a Partners in Time remake.

I don’t see why I’d be unruly about a topic like this, but you are right. I have my personal preferences over in the original as well as in the remake, simply because that’s just how I am. For instance, I liked the difficulty (or maybe just the fast paced battles) in the original, and some of the original tracks.
However, I am glad about many of the changes they made in the remake, such as the removal of infinite or near-infinite Bros. Moves like the Magic Mirror, as I felt that made things a bit too easy.
i was about to say why aren't they using magic window it's infinite until you miss command,
but then i realized they nerfed magic window
They did it to fix balancing issues.
1:08:39 This isn't how it goes in the original game, the Dark Star formed into Dark Bowser before the fight not after the fight.

How did you get the falling star Bros attack?
james Luna when you first enter Peach’s castle as the bros you must find the 3 koopas who gave you the ‘yoo who cannon’ they will charge 300 coins for 7 pieces. They will then give 3 locations for 3 invisible blocks that you must find by jumping around.
I don’t really agree with the nerf of the dark statlmite bomb attack. I get that Nintendo makes their games easier now, but this is the penultimate boss for Mario and Luigi, it needs SOME difficulty...
Could you tell me how it’s easier? It seems roughly the same in difficulty to me. The only thing that’s different is how it starts, and the bombs are replaced with electric balls.
TheFanMan Watch a video of the original battle, the original had the statlmites drop a lot quicker giving you much less time to react on whether it was aimed at Mario or Luigi. This attack has the statlmites fall way slower, giving players way more time to react and figure out which bro to use.

Hmm, I can see that now after comparing them. It’s not really a huge loss to me though.
I'd say the fact that they can actually damage you now makes up for it.
I one shot the dark star, they nerfed it way too much
