I told you they would come rofl, we love our Twice. I read someone write they've been listening to music for 35 years. Well I love Twice because they remind me of MY era and MY songs and I've been listening to what WE called Rock and Roll since the King Elvis sang gospel and shook his hips so much they wouldn't show it on TV. The animation in this M/V reminded me of a group called the Beatles and a song called Yellow Submarine but that's just me. I finally got to your reactions to Jihyo (she has a second M/V off her album called Closer which I think is better in everyway) and MiSaMo (also a minialbum) can't wait to see your next one. You like strong women react to a B-side with no M/V called Gone see what you think. OT9 forever.
For me Twice is just that group. I never thought I would be into them because their music tends to be very poppy, but! As I got more into them it was clear that they can do anything. They’re queens of good vibes!

You already know some of them but just in case ^^. Some twice title tracks are kinda pop based but some aren't like perfect world, cry for me, and I cant stop me. Their b-sides are also varying in genre with some of their less bubblegum pop style songs being Hello (Nayeon, Momo, Chaeyoung subunit), Go Hard, and Love Foolish to name but a few. But overall I know you don't discriminate when it comes to music anyway and Twice really does have a song for everyone

Bro, Twice is what got me into kpop in 2021. They showed me how much I'd been missing listening only to American rock, country, and folk. Now my wife and I are both huge Onces. Our Twice favorites playlist has 135 tracks. No joke, their discography is that strong.

My Twice playlist is several hours of consistent quality and a good variety. They may not be an edgy group, but I always support them and get the feels and comfort from them.

I dont like the current popular one because they use too much time to twice content to show their personality when there are so many better moments. The one from the yr before is ok but its too short and we have too much insert from the creators (I didn’t mind but some people might not vibe with their personalities.

6:12 You're correct, it's Jihyo's voice layering with Nayeon. They are usually the ones doing the adlibs and harmonies along with Jeongyeon but other members can do it also. In fact, all of them brings out an amazing sound when singing altogether just like the do do do do part.. 😄

Thank you for the video! and for giving them a shot. I'm a proud Once, and it is safe to say that regardless of what music you listen to on a "regular basis" Twice is so good! I'm a heavy metal fan, I also enjoy a lot of blues and R&B, regardless of this I adore Twice Discography. I agree that in the beginning, the music was kinda poppy and cute, but trust me, it grows on you in the best way possible. good music is good music no matter what.
Anyway, all this to say, if you want to continue down the rabbit hole we, Onces, "got you" xD, see what I did there? hahah.

I’ve been a ONCE for 3 or 4 years now. No regrets. I seen them in concert for the first time June last year No regrets it’s an experience with these ladies. Their personalities, visuals, vocals will make you love them. They are just a genuine group. I’m excited for you to get into them. It's funny how many times I've heard someone say they don't expect to like Twice or it's not my kind of music or style blah blah blah. First Twice isn't a type or style which you will find out on your journey down the rabbit hole and you might be surprised how many of your regulars might enjoy taking this trip with you. Second watch and they will come, ONCE's love watching the making of baby ONCE's once they hear about you they will show up (me for example lol). Yes a pre release means an album is on the way 26th I believe. At some point you might want to watch a guide when you do let us know there are tons of them just let us know how much time you want to set aside they can run from 8 mins to almost an hour (the longer the better informed you'll be). Twice has almost 200 songs and their best in my opinion are their B-sides. They actually can all rap but they have two main rappers and a sub rapper but you won't hear rap in every song. You also need to remember two very important things about their videos, their never over till their over and the camera STARES have been there since debut and you can't get over it just not possible (been here 5 years trust me) OK as to the video it is Jihyo but it's in harmony with Nayeon and the ending vocals are my bias Jeongyeon. The red string is the string of fate that connects you to your soulmate and connects to your pinky finger which they all have marked. Since your new to twice I'm not going to attempt to tell you the whole story it is heavy with Twice lore so would be overload. As to a recommendation try Set me Free or Moonlight Sunrise to start (you'll love the stares in those two). OT9 forever (that is a promise Twice made to us ONCE's that they will ALWAYS be 9, O means ONCE T9 is a 9 member Twice).

I'm feeling... enchanted? I'm... in love?? lol Jeongyeon's first camera-look (in the lighthouse) in particular was tough. She did it so casually. This to me is like the mirror version of Feel Special. It's about being together and supporting eachother, but this time it's a happy reflection instead of because of strife.
Twice is my main group. I'd love to see you hit more. They have an absolute shit ton of variety content (which makes good patreon content, just save some for me on youtube lol) and almost 9 years of content in general. They're sitting at almost 300 songs, all kinds of genres.

TWICE have been my happy place for a long time and this song came out on a bad day in a bad week in a bad month, and it just hit me like nothing else has in a long time. TWICE bring comfort and strength and happiness to so many people and this song is so meaningful and warm. I am glad some of that came through even though you don't know TWICE very well yet.

When I first heard of them I brushed them off. They were too “cute and poppy” and I didn’t give them a chance. During the pandemic I was going through it and came across to Can’t Stop Me due to boredom. The rest is history. I dove deeply into all their content and listened to their discography. They helped me through a really rough time, isolation and sadness of the pandemic. I’ve been the biggest ONCE since the first listen back in 2020. They’re wonderful and great live! Show stoppers and true professionals.
I think that's so cool, and I have a similar relationship with BLACKPINK (the reason I'm here doing this) and I got so frustrated with reactors not paying attention or learning their names etc. so I started this to be the reactor I wanted as a fan, and now I'm trying to be that for others. I don't know if you came here from my I Can't Stop Me reaction (or if this is a crazy coincidence lol) but that also helped me realize how wrong I was to assume anything about these queens! I'll echo what many say about Twice -- on paper they shouldn't be a group I like. too cutesy, too bubble-gum, too "poppy" too... whatever. But they have a super-power. You listen to their music, and you just feel happy and find yourself smiling. No idea why, but.. there you go.
A few years ago I saw am analysis vid that said that kpop is heavliy weighted towards female fandom, but there's 1 group that actually has more male fans than female (using official fan club membership as the data to determine that), and that group is Twice. Since then, I've seen females comment that they found Twice concerts "creepy" since there were so many men at them. Go figure.
But anyway, yeah, I'm not immune. Twice was probably the 3rd kpop group I ran across when "my journey" began back in 2017 or 2018 and they've been my favorite ever since.
Hi there, welcome. I was Once once and probably still am because you know the saying “once Once, always Once”. I’m obviously now a fan of 4th get too and stylistically Twice have gone in a different direction. Love them all and celebrate their success, which is as it should be, quite abundant. Twice is an incredibly universal group too. Recently I saw a really souped up, low slung, racing/drifting kind of car driving around with all kinds of stickers for various parts that had been installed, and there on the tinted window, larger than all of them, was a Twice logo. Amazing.
I scrolled through the comments quickly to see if someone had already done the work & saw a playlist linked to, but playlists go in reverse order & I don’t think that makes sense for anything, particularly for Twice as they have evolved a fair amount over their 8-9 year existence. It should also be noted that most of the 9 members have contributed to the writing of many of the b-sides over the years, which is always nice to see.

@@ChainReactionsChannel You are so very welcome - I know you do a great deal of work beyond the 8-10 minutes it takes to watch and recover from beautiful women gazing at you through the camera.
And I know it's really hard to assess what to watch first based on youtube searches and the number of video views or what other little bit of information you can see without spoiling the MV.
Twice should be an enjoyable journey for you even if not many of the songs end up on your playlist (& who even knows about that?). They are really talented and charming and you may introduce other people to them, or you may help Once find some new interests as well!
The long reaction is only dangerous if you fear Blocking because one wrong video can take down your whole reaction. I don't think you run too much of a risk with old Twice content though and if you go chronologically you can probably easily group two or three together. I have watched a few videos by @lockedly who has 80k youtube subs and posts videos of his live reactions from Twitch where he will go through a playlist of one groups' songs. He did XG backwards (grrr) but still liked them and has done Nmixx, Everglow etc. and Red Velvet was 1h41m!! He has a bit of an audience to bounce off though as there is an ongoing chat. Maybe watch part of one of his binges to assess whether that's what you want to do. (Then again, the (G)i-dle Killing Voice is going to be 30 minutes without any pauses, so that will give you a feel for how much long format you want to go four. You should be able to knock out 2-3 Twice videos in an edited length of 10-15 minutes though, right?
ok - time to rest my fingers. I really did enjoy revisitng some old music though. Even if you get to half the ++ it will be fun to share the journey

I was so disillusioned with Western music that my love for it was almost gone, and I had so little to enjoy in that way. It really affected me and getting into KPop and running this channel has meant so much to me, it has given me so much to look forward to, it's my favorite thing I got going on. Maybe less literal than what TWICE has beautifully done for your family but I do say this whole thing "saved" me too. It's hard to explain usually but I'm hoping you understand better than most! Also yeah there’s an album coming out February 23rd called With You-th and as far as other suggestions to react to in between, I Can’t Stop Me, Talk That Talk, Set Me Free, and Likey are a good cross section of the different kinds of tracks that they do of course there’s more, but it’s a good mix to start. There’s some great longer guides out there to get to know them better, the 2022 Helpful guide is great and there’s a 2023 version that’s good too but the name’s escaping me 😂

TWICE has that music and feel that makes you feel good and bubbly inside. They also have different genres and the album coming out this February is their 13th EP. They have 200+ songs to their name, some they even wrote themselves :)

First off great reaction and analysis of the MV, I admire that you are giving your true thoughts and feels on the girls I admire that and that will make me want to watch more. Second My favorite thing to do is read comments on what Onces like to say about TWICE to get you to watch more of them and I say this because it shows the profound amount of Love we have for them. Take it from me i'm in my forties and randomly heard a song by them in 2018 and i had to hear more, since then have been to 2 concerts and still enjoy their music on a daily. All of over 200 songs are great even the ones they say are cute, now when I say that I mean they are the only girls who can pull it off no they own it for real, they make girls and guys both cry from some of the reactors on TH-cam. If you’d like some more songs with Jihyo showing off, I recommend Push and Pull, Blame It On Me, The Reason Why, Donut, Up No More (written by Jihyo), Sunset (also by Jihyo), F.I.L.A. (Fall in Love Again by Nayeon), Firework, Touchdown, and I Can’t Stop Me. Lastly, for more of an R&B vibe, I recommend Rewind, Handle It, and Espresso. Yay!!! I commented on your Jihyo video a while back mentioning that I hope you cover twice in their comeback!
They are my ult group and are a very very special girl group. Even if they aren’t your usual vibe, they’re easy to fall in love with. Plus they have a lot of such diverse music that you should be able to find some you for sure vibe with! I’d start with some of their newer title tracks, like: I can’t stop me, talk that talk, moonlight sunrise, set me free. For fun you could throw in a couple older ones to see where they came from like TT, fancy, likey etc. based on what I (assume) your taste is from watching previous reactions to other groups I think you’d enjoy the b-sides: Icon, Last Waltz, Gone, blame it on me… just to start with and see what you think.
Their new ep is coming towards the end of the month! Would love to watch you cover them. I recommend one of the newest guides “who is twice (a guide into living legends)” by jaytzuu. It’s a little long but it gives you an idea about each member and covers a lot of their history and accomplishments as a group! Another good guide is “a helpful guide to twice 2022” by MinguinMina though obviously it’s a little outdated now.
Regardless I hope you get more interaction on this and your next couple twice videos so you can get some traction and start covering the group regularly!
