I pay 299Rs 2gb/day prepaid plan (monthly) for 4G .While changing to 5G ,I would wish to have an increase of 50-100Rs not more than that from my usual plan (JIO) . 4G is having enough speed and coverage.

Honestly the prices for 4G are hiked so much that they have already started taking 5G rates. Even for lower plans (minimum plans) specially for Vodafone Idea they do not provide SMS services to trap you in trouble for OTPs or some other services so you have to take higher recharges. This trap is specifically for 2 sim users who just want 2nd sim to be running at minimum cost.
So I am not much attracted but since you asked, I can pay 15% extra max for 5G recharges

I have bought jio ₹2399 annual plan. When prices increased i bought one more ₹2399 annual before increase.
    Im satisfied with jio services.
There was service outage in jio for 2 days so they provided all users irrespective they were impacted or not 2 days free vouchers automatically. I have never seen any other service providers doing so.
If I get value for money deal will shift to 5g too.

Stayin on 4 g will be more beneficial I think so , As we can expect some better networks after 5 g rollout because most of the people would upgrade to 5g which wil reduce traffic on 4 g bands.

Beneficial for jio users as Jio has Standalone 5G which means they will have separate network for 5G. Whereas Airtel & others will have Non Standalone 5G which means they upgrade their existing network and make 4G work like 5G.
So theoretically, Jio 5G will give you the experience of true 5G

after 6-8 months 4g packs will see price increase of 20% and decrease of speed @30-40%

I think transition / evolution from 3G to 4G was significant... as with 3G we kept seeing slow browsing and vdo playback buffering, which got solved with arrival of 4G networks
Now if I think for what I practically need more speed, I don't see it required for anything... I mean even if I am on 4G or 5G, my usage will feel mostly same. So I think I will stick to 4G as far as I can and as far as 4G costing < 5G costing
I am curious and wonder how others feel about it... I know online high-end gaming may see improvement with faster 5G speeds... but what about other usage? Who needs and why, the faster and higher costing 5G speed?
BTW, I am subscribed to R-Jio prepaid 4G network, paying around 2300 to 2500 for 336 days for 1.5 GB daily data. I may stick to 4G for another year or so, but certainly looking forward to what 5G plans cost in India

I don't see the need of higher speeds of 5G if there's going to be a cap on the data usage, unlike fibres which don't have cap the amount of data I use... I can use high speeds for larger amounts of data. My personal internet usage is approx 3.5-4 GB/day, and I don't think I would like to pay huge amounts to get 5G @ 3.5 GB/day...
