Michael Shannon's General Zod was definitely the most badass, intimidating and most compelling Supervillain we've ever seen in comic book movies. Anybody who disagrees doesn't understand Zods motives and determinations. And don't get me started on this mans themes. Hans Zimmer is a genius for writing such a badass villain theme for Zod.

Reverse flash and the joker are up there too..., for example unlike the joker zod or a lot of other villans for that matter reverse flash's ultimate goal is to torment and kill anyone that the flash even remotely considers a friend, a because he can't kill the flash himself, making his hate the most pure form of villany out there so watch out for prb the flash 2 movie

1:03 I like how the music that plays as the World Engine departs from the Black Zero sounds very heroic and epic instead of ominous and creepy. It makes Zod sound like the hero of Krypton…

Hans Zimmer made a masterpiece when he made the soundtrack for man of steel.
If you listen to 'I Will Find Him' or 'Zod is Captured' which is another variant of General Zod's theme, you can hear how it sounds heroic. He was technically Kryptons hero. Even 'Zod disbands Council' sounds heroic. Such a badass villain theme.

Man, he was mentally challenged. Guy discovers a planetary system where they can be gods, and didnt realize he can terraform mars or venus? Let earth in peace and be a god in one or the two of that planets and make faora your queen. For God sake, Zod deserved defeat.
