I think that was on purpose. Jasper is Gloria's fear of judgment and criticism, inflated compared to other people. Kinda like Compton's numerous judges and the judges of the cookoff. Everyone has judges, but Gloria's was fat and powerful.

I swear this guy was so much harder when he was first introduced and then he just got less threatening as the game went on
