I have a 2014 with 71k on it, I’m never letting it go drives like a Cadillac and can hit off road like a titan. Starting the engine in the morning also gives me a boner 😅

I own a few of these and follow the FJ forums. There are guys driving these with 600, 700, or 800k miles. Even a guy or two with a million miles on their FJ. Anyway, nice video. Hope to see you review another one some time.

Oh wow that’s amazing that they can go for that long. Thanks so much for the support, I really appreciate it 🙌🙌

What’s the most popular/best forums? I just bought the 2023 final edition fj (one of 1000) and want to follow these forums

for real?! 🤯 I thought 300-400k would be awesome but 500k plus.

guys educate yourself before coming out with review.... FJ does have a diff lock for rear wheels (electronic diff locker) AND A-track for front wheels(electronic "locker" operated by the individually wheel brakes)

My question to you, how do you know what is gay or not? I have no ideal of such?

I've got a 2014 Army Green with white roof with 65k miles golf cart. Wish I had more miles on it took him to Moab and did Chicken Corners and the Arches. Nothing tough or spectacular but the views were unreal out of sight. Just decided to change my own oil after wasting hours at the stealership and we make it to the golf course and back every week. I am simply stylin.

The one mistake toyota made with the FJ is that they stopped making them.

Oh. Wow. A review of a 2014 Heritage Blue FJ Cruiser, the last year of U.S production. How timely.🙄
Guys, the badge is for Ultimate Trail Teams. Notice the non-white roof.
TRD Special Editions, Trail Teams Editions, Ultimate Trail Teams FJs didn't have the iconic white roof. They have specific OEM badging.
Flagship color - Voodoo Blue with white roof - 2007- 2009.
Worldwide FJ production ended in December 2022. This was the Final Edition FJ in the color Quicksand. Only 1000 were produced and sold in the Middle East only.
Early FJs (2007-2009) had no back-up cam, and required premium gas. Also had a different head unit. Different engines: '07-'09 VVT-i. '10-'14 Dual VVT-i.
Aside from select packages: Convenience/Off-Road/Upgrade... 2/WD 4x2 5-speed auto or 4x4 5-speed auto or 6-speed manual, FJs are basically the same. Owners make them unique.
The dash-top gauge cluster comprises of ... Compass/Temp/Inclinometer.
I hope to keep my 2013 Magma FJ forever.
Toyota will basically price out their targer demographic. The new Land Cruisers and 4-Runners are stupid expensive. They didn't listen to their loyal market. I was looking at a 2024 Solar Octane, Lime Rush TRD Pro 4-Runner or the Land Cruiser 1st Edition as a second vehicle. Estimated $55- $80K. Had to ask myself, do I really want to take that kind of money off-roading? As of this writing... no. So, my trusty FJ it is.

trail edition is just a stupid name the fj is the same basicly even is cheaper cause they ar painted in just 1 color and the rest are 2 color...the white roof is the most iconic thing on all fj from 1970 till now

It was just announced that Toyota will cease production with the 2023 model of the FJ Cruiser. I have a 2007 FJ with 145,000 miles and I love it! Would love to get a second one at some point. Off roading in this beast is so much fun.

That’s so sad they’re ceasing production. It’s a fantastic car for sure and I think it’s a bad idea on Toyotas end

  • @FragginCap
    @FragginCap ปีที่แล้ว

There is a vid somewhere on TH-cam of an FJ in a tug o war with a hummer (forget which one) and the FJ pulls the Hummer past the line, turns, and proceeds to drag the fighting Hummer down the road. Jeeps still win in certain circumstances. Their dimensions are a big factor
    LOVE FJs

I beat up my FJ offroad all the time and its mind blowing how solid it feels. Literally feels like a brand new truck on pavement after a harsh week in the desert or a weekend of Boulder bashing. Never selling mine.
