Greenwood area is ok, as you get closer to Ballard, it gets nicer, although Ballard has been having problems with homelessness.
There are pockets of Greenwood that’s more desirable than other parts of the, so depending where in Greenwood you reside will be a big difference.
There’s lots of nice shops and restaurants in the neighborhood along with Fred Myer and other grocery chains.
