for existing skilled worker visas going for extension, you explained about salary limits, what about the occupation code, will it change as per new list or old list is still applicable and if it is shortage occupation as per previous list, does it mean extension automatically qualifies for shortage occupation to get discounted IHS?

International student fee because you won’t be classified as a “Home” student for the university so university won’t get any funding support from the british government for you.

Hi thank you for sharing this video I have one doubt my husband is on a skilled visa and he applied for an extension in the month of January 2024 with me ( we both applied together I'm on a dependent visa) but the lawyer said first your husband get a visa then we applied biometric for you. My husband got a biometric date on the 26th of March. It might be he got a visa in the month of April so what about me?

I am already pass 1 year on Graduate Visa if I get skilled worker visa. The new entrant salary threshold will apply only first 3 years on skilled worker visa or can I apply 5 years skilled worker visa directly on same new entrant salary threshold ?
What if a student living with dependent currently and when applying for care work visa then dependent will have to leave ?
There is one thing you missed to clarify. Under Health and Care Visa there are different occupation codes. So does the dependent rule apply to only Care workers and Senior Care workers or to other occupations as well? For example: does it apply for nurses, dental nurses, pharmacists, etc?
Dependents of Occupation code 6145 and 6146 which is for care worker and senior care worker will no longer able to apply for dependent visa

If you are already here then you will need minimum £29000 salary when the time comes to extend your visa and you can still bring your dependents to the UK now and later also 👍🏻

There is no current plan to abolish the UK Graduate visa, but the scheme is under review by the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) with a view to preventing abuse and protecting the integrity and quality of UK higher education.

It’s easy once you get CoS from your employer.. just follow the process on Gov Uk its explained there or your employer might apply for you if they are sponsoring

I'm still confused. In January I get my graduate visa. Do I fall under the category of newcomer? Or do all international students who are already in the UK fall under the new entrants?
You can switch to new entrant visa which is for 4 years in and suppose if you are on a graduate visa already for last one year, you can still switch to new entrant visa but instead of 4 years you will be given 3 years of new entrant visa because you already spent 1 year on graduate visa in uk.

there is no such visa as New Entrant, it’s just a category. You will need to spend 5 years on skilled worker visa to be eligible for ILR

He will have to provide all the requirements needed for skilled worker visa even english requirement as well.. yes once he gets skilled visa you and kids can become dependent on his visa
