Opponent doing things wrong helped alot I would say
the fact that ice barriers exist feels like a fever dream
From my experience and seeing his hands, I have one question to the Ice Barrier player. Why did he play Cryomancer? Pretty much the card only used to discard a card.
Also why special summon Raiho in Attack Position? Zuijin can special summon him to Defense Position.

I like playing Vampires and see the opponent ramming their head against a wall as my Vampire Fraulein ramps up my monsters' attack. It's so fun seeing them continuing to attack and kill their own monsters instead of stopping and going "wait, this ain't right, better take a moment to read"

They were probably thinking they’d attack upgraded Trishula first, then activate Berserker’s effect once it destroyed Trish to attack General Raiho. They kept on “forgetting” that activated field effects need a discard to go through. 😂

@@Deathmare235 You’re assuming they would’ve read their opponent’s monster effects beforehand. Everyone knows yugioh players don’t read if they can help it. This video is a perfect example of that 🙃
@@JakeLikesJoking I'll argue this goes beyond "not reading" into outright "not thinking". The card had screwed them with its continuous effect multiple times by that point. I want to believe a rational person would think "maybe I should get rid of that one first before doing anything else".

it makes me happy that this deck is being played at all, ice barrier was always a really good looking deck from an art perspective.
That’s the equivalent of having the visual of the imperm column and still playing spells in the imperm column. You really only have yourself to blame for the not paying attention or reading.

Keep in mind that they did this BEFORE Ice Barriers had the ability to summon Raiho DIRECTLY FROM THE DECK.
Now that Lancea exist, Raiho will be eating up those cards that can't read.
(By the way, the Zero Trishula effect actually negated the cards on the opponent's field, not Raiho)

Raiho lingering effect is just too damn funny, not even baronne can negate his effect. Only way to counter him is Infinite imperm, or just throw high atk monster to dish him out first

Although, in future spell may be listed out because new supports basically make them can get Raiho and Spellbreaker or Warlock in same board easily. Basically they will get dragon that can sp summon any ice barrier from anywhere except banished one if opp special summon something. A responsive floodgate building. Trap like imperm or evenly would be best way in the end because they're lacking true trap floodgate. Only have medium's force opp only can use 1 spell/trap at best.
Imagine putting a moon mirror shield on it so even negated it couldn't die from battle 😅

I play Raiho in my Marincess deck & while he doesn’t appear often, he usually either wins me the game by his effect as shown here. I had a lot of fun with that in the Synchro x Link event a while back

The card is literally lighting up every single time it negates something, and the opponent still chooses to attack the Syncro instead... it's not a reading issue at that point, this is awareness issue.
