Lets Keep Talking Money!!! Finances shouldn't be a barrier to your academic dreams! If you want to go to grad school, you deserve to pursue regardless if you can afford it on your own! Head over to my playlist on Grad Funding so you can prepare for grad school and funding it! - th-cam.com/video/2H0LcIvyi7g/w-d-xo.html
I've been watching your vids throughout my graduate application process, and you've helped alot. You've even helped me become fully funded in a music performance doctoral degree which I've learned isn't very standard so I really want to thank you
Chris!! Thank you so much! I am sooo excited to know that I was able to help you get some support for your doctoral degree! You are sooo amazing and deserving of all the good things to come. Please feel free to keep me updated! You sharing your experience means so much to me! Thank you again!
Hey Brisa, I got an offer for a PhD at UCR but I'm afraid that the money won't be enough to live comfortably, since Cali is so expensive. How much do you think would be enough to, in the words of Paris Hilton "stop being poor" while doing my graduate studies? Thanks for all the amazing content you put out :)
This is actually a great idea for a video... its hard to say how much you'll need because it's based off what your particular needs ... I can say my first year I made a little over 2.5k a months and with a roommate I was living very comfortably... now I made a little less than 4k and live in the same process apartment without a roommate... so it varies and as you progress your past increases... but its still pretty humble... it can be tight but it's also doable!
@@BrisaMarie are you kidding me? I feel like your videos have been more informative than the actual talks I’ve had with the ppl in the department I’m about to join hahaha Have a wonderful day, dear Brisa. You rock
Hi! So every degree and program has different places scholarships are held. For the most part I would suggest starting with googling things related to you and your degree. I would also ask your school if they are familiar with any scholarships that some or many of their students have earned while in the program. (Some schools have grants in the program and/or university. Other require you to apply outside of the univeristy) Here is a video on how I find grants, but it will be slightly different for your since you are in a MBA program : th-cam.com/video/oJ4_J8dfZ18/w-d-xo.htmlsi=0iBNEFsPNfQSyVet
