JK sings amazingly in English, so much that people tend to think he's fluent. He isn't yet. Some rude people are asking him to speak more English, and he apologized when he didn't have to, saying "I'm sorry, but I don't speak English." He can understand, most of it. But imagine not only speaking your native tongue, but Japanese, and trying to learn other languages on top of that. Imagine trying to formulate so many other words and second-guessing "Is this the right way to say this? Is this the word I should use?" Before answering a question in a tongue not native to you. Trust, it's a struggle. But he and the rest of BTS aside from RM being fluent, pull it off so well when they have to sing in English. Another thing, you don't actually have to know a language to find that you can sing along. Your pronunciation may be off, and the accent could be wrong, but you can still get the gist enough to sing a song you like. I don't know if I explained this well. But I hope you understand,

Jungkook's English has improved immensely over the last 3 or so years. He has been taking lessons, as have several of them. Also, Jungkook has done quite a number of song covers that are English songs (e.g., Falling - orig by Harry Styles). BTS had 3 all English songs: Dynamite, Butter, Permission to Dance, in the 2020-2021 timeframe, but they are better known and respected for their Korean songs that have some English in them usually. RM is still the most fluent in English, and J-Hope is a pretty close second these days. Did you know most all of them can also speak in Japanese? They have quite a few Japanese songs. BTS guys are no dummies, that's for sure!

I can also see Jungkook dominating or getting big in the west as a soloist with the quality of his voice.

All of them are really good at singing English lyrics but I will say Jungkook is definitely the best at pronouncing after RM of course. However, except for RM they are are not fluent in English but they have definitely gotten better over the years.

Charlie Puth was featured in Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again" several years ago, plus wrote and sang "We Don't Talk Anymore", among other songs. He has perfect pitch, which matches perfectly with Jungkook! Always love your reactions! 💜💜

i think jungkook prepared his english pretty well for this song. charlie puth is one of his favourite singers, so i’d get why he’d want to perfect the pronunciation for this collab. plus, u gotta remember he’s been doing 9 years of global shows, interviews, and english lessons 😭

RM is fluent in English, JK has clear pronounciation but isn't fluent totally, Suga (Yoongi) understands (more or less totally) but doesn't speak much, Jin has pronounciation problem but is able to communicate properly he learnt lots, Jhope is learning and has improved immensely as well as Jimin and Taehyung (V)..
They can all use English words/sentences without accent in songs, they have worked real hard
