- Great winters day fly fishing on the amazing Grafham reservoir in Cambridgeshire. Just me in a boat exploring this fabulous fishery for the 3rd time. I think I am hooked and will be fishing here a lot going forwards.

Great to someone else on a boat, its great to catch a few whilst in a boat, they all took a shrimp pattern that sounds about right for the time of year, nice day by the looks of things,😀

Nice video! Ive never had the guts to go out on a reservoir, as it seems so daunting trying to figure out where the fish are... I can barely find the fish on a small stillwater, nevermind the method and flies to use😂
I dont pretend to be an expert or anything close to it myself, I just listened to the local bailiffs and took their advice, throw in a bit of luck on the day and that did it.
@@SLSFishing suppose that’s the only way to progress or make yourself a better fisherman, try the difficult stuff! Either way, really enjoy your videos. Keep it up! If anything try to explain your method and setup more to help us novices more! Tight lines
Hi Simon, I am on a interested to know about your video set up. Your audio is really good even with all the wind. Have you got external mic. And yes I enjoyed the video. Nice one mate. Shaun.
Hi Shaun glad you enjoyed the video. I have 3 Gopro's, a 3, 4 and 8. The Gopro 8 has much better audio than the 3 and 4. It also has really good image stabilisation so I highly recommend it. In this video am using the Gopro8 on a clip mount which attaches to the peak of my baseball cap which I really rate.
I do have an external mic for the Gopro4 which really improves wind noise so if you have the 4 I would get one.
