siri H It’s a tea concentrate. So it’s kind of somewhere in between. It looks and tastes like a sour juice, but it’s technically a tea. Just extremely concentrated.

you can make the vanilla syrup by boiling 1 cup water with 1 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
adding vanilla beans makes it alot better but yea its as easy as you explained

lordfarquad420 to add vanilla beans, you have to find some locally or online, then cut them in half, scrap out the seeds, and put it in :) You might already know by now but just in case

it means stain because you're supposed to add a small dollop of milk foam to stain the espresso in a traditional macchiato
+misterludakris do you add steamed milk to an iced drink ? and she did specify it was to make it the way starbucks makes it, which the video accomplished. if you don't like starbucks , don't learn how to make it like starbucks

it's macchiato, it has a double c, it's a hard sound
also, it's not "tow" at the end, it's just to. there is no double vowel sound going on, like it would in english,, it's a simple o (like in japanese or korean, if u watch anime or listen to kpop u'll understand what i mean)

How i make my caramel macchiato: ☕️
1. Heat some milk in a regular saucepan until it has steam coming from the pan.
2. Boil your kettle and get your coffee jar ready. I like to use Nescafé.
3. Get a cup with a securable lid and shake until it is frothy.
4. Pour the frothy milk into the mug, and then pour the coffee in the middle.
5. Take some caramel syrup and pump 2 teaspoons on top, so it stays on top of the frothed up milk.
6. If you want add ice. I love this macchiato recipe! 😘

can you use vanilla extract instead of vanilla syrup?
***** i think the the vanilla extract isn't sweetened, which is why you use the syrup also, the extract is a dark color so it would ruin the layered effect of the macchiato

I've been having Starbucks make me "Caramel Macchiato Frappuccino's' for a decade. Quite simply put, they are awesome.

This type of Macchiato is only made by Starbucks, a true Macchiato is a shot of espresso with a tad of foam on top.
That is a Caffe Macchiato. What she did was a Latte Macchiato. That's the difference :)
That would be just a Latte w/ Caramel, un-shaken.
Starbucks also has makes the traditional macchiato but they call it espresso macchiato

So I just had one of these I'm a coffee noob so please explain to me. Am I supposed to mix the macchiato or just drink it as is because once I got to the dark part it was way to fucking strong and not sweet. Please explain.
Usually when I get the macchiato at Starbucks I like to mix it or just make it upside down which is the expresso at the bottom then the milk then the flavoring 😊

I did mine a little different but was still really good! I didnt have caramel drizzle, but I had caramel syrup so I used that. I also didn't have espresso so I used diy cold brew. It was delicious!

The double shot espresso with tiny bit of milk is called Caffe Macchiato, and the one with a lot of milk and a single shot of espresso is called Latte Macchiato. :)
Macchiato means "stained" in Italian, thus the first one is coffee with milk stain,and the latter milk with coffee stains.
