The Sanctuary is beautiful and it makes me sad to think that it has been abandoned, especially when I see other buildings being erected and we don’t use the ones we already have built.
Tons of civilians are into war memorabilia and end up taking interests in various things like aircraft. I know guys who have never been near a non-commercial plane whose houses are full of model military planes and things like that.
It looked like a church after they ask for donations for a garage sale. A family in our small town bought an old Church but whatever was in disrepair only got worse after they moved in so they bulldozed it. They did manage to save the stained glass and the bell that conveniently fell through the bell tower one day all the way to the basement.
That is the most bizarre thing I've ever seen. It's hard to believe so much was just abandoned like that but the pictures were the weirdest thing. I wonder if someone watching this video will see themselves in those pictures and come forward about what happened?

I went to an estate sale in a house belonging to an older gentleman who lived by himself for the last years of his life. He once had a family but they had all passed away or moved years ago. This reminded me of that, without the lines of people picking through everything. I don't know how this place exists without being completely vandalized. Thanks for showing it to us.
@Wreckdiver59 I used to go to estate sales too because I loved old things but I stopped going to them because of the reason you mentioned: it made me sad to see people picking through personal items. The last one I went to was at an old lady’s home in a trailer park. The sale was being held by her nephew. All the old lady’s clothes were in garbage bags laying on her bed. At one point the old lady had tried her hand at doing watercolors because she had several sketchbooks with flower studies in them. I found one small cheap sketchbook that was empty and I thought I could get it for a few dollars but the guy wanted $10 for it. I thought about this poor old lady living alone in her single wide trailer with the brown fake paneled walls, doing watercolor studies of flowers, all alone. No one caring that she was learning how to paint. It made me so depressed to think about haggling over a dead person’s blank sketchbook that I left and never went to another one after that.

The woodwork is actually really amazing in there
I'd like to know at least what state your in.
Some people have taken old churches and made them into community centers for kids! Also depending on how many buildings lady around the church they've also made tiny homes out of them. There's quite a few antiques in the building. Remarkable that the stained glass is all still there intact!
The church build is quite beautiful!
Edit: And the suitcases creeped me out a lot! 😳🤔
Would love to know the name of the family so we could do some digging of our own please and thank
Yes, I used to work helping a private investigator. You can PM me and I could see if I can find out anything.
@@awarenessvillage its def got "FBI raid" written all over it that or just storage with no cares of ever coming back to it.
You could have matched the numbers on the boat in the picture with the numbers on the boat that you found inside.

The Fallen ones.
Pretty ironic; seems quite fitting for the times we are currently living
It's a good book. I noticed all the cassette tapes for Mr. Murder, another Dean Koontz book. He's one of my favorite writers.
@@awarenessvillage mine too! I think I read most all of his books when I was in 6th or 7th grade. Of course thats been 25 years ago so I'm sure there's many I haven't read.
i heard about an owner of a flea market using an old church as a wear house but i don't know if this is it
The church of the Lost souls so sad 😢
Couldn't you at least say what state it's in? I've dreamed my whole life of living in a church. Totally worth restoring! Those windows are gorgeous.😍 Cool antiques, too.
He probably left that part out on purpose so people watching this video couldn't do some searching around and go there and scavenge through the place anymore than it already has due to it being someone's personal belongings, and based off the comments some of the things in there are quite valuable now.
Thanks for sharing with me my new friend i really enjoyed this video about theFamily who lived in this church And Vanished, Leaving everything behind it was kind of strange seeing all this completly left abandoned and God Bless and thanks again.
Would the latest dates of paperwork possibly be prior to 9/11? I thought you said 2001, just makes me wonder.
Great video! Too bad all of those old antiques are left there to rot away.
Check old Ghost Adventures show on Travel channel The church was haunted and had demonic entity It was no longer a church Family hired to repair it lived there and called Zak at Ghost Adventures
Wow, how did u find this out?
Episode?
This has the makings of a horror movie 😬🤣
I don't remember that episode. What state & town was this in?
@@samanthab1923 good question
Looks like a slip type knot in a rope hanging from the ceiling when the shot pans across the pews at the end. Would be fascinating to see what a good forensics team could come up with in there
The suitcases always creep me out!
WOW,,SHOCKED,,,SAFE TRAVELS.STAY WELL
Awesome 👍.. I could live there...no problem...
What state is the church located in? That place looks amazing!
Im pretty sure he left that part out on purpose.
Some churches have food pantry, home furnishings, and clothing for distributions for the parishioners of the city or town. We have here in Oklahoma most of the churches her hands out to people in dire need.

Church/Thrift store donation storage
That's what I think, too. I've seen other videos where urbexers explored abandoned churches that were still full of items arranged for a rummage sale. I wondered then, and still wonder, why the stuff wasn't offered to another church for people of lesser means could take advantage of other people's generosity. It's part of the mystery, I guess. Stay safe.
The craziest thing to see was that the entire place was *relatively* intact. Sure people had clearly been in there, so much stuff was still left alone and untouched. Very strange
I found a house like this. Everything they owned was just left. Crazy!
