Tim you are the luckiest man alive!!! I would be in johan heaven and I'd go broke buying them all up!! If you ever find a johan amc hornet funny car parts builder or kit fairly cheap get it for me and I'll buy it from you! I love the video brother!

Man what a show. I went broke just watching your video 😂😂. That swap meet was second to none. Lol. Thought I caught a glimpse of one of your kits in there too. Some really beautiful builds there. So many JoHan kits; I really want to buy an unbuilt JoHan kit to build. When I was a kid one store in my area sold them for 99cents. I loved those kits. And as a kid I didn’t have to paint the body because they were usually molded in color. Thanks for your coverage.

Makes me sick I had to miss this but financially it wasn't in the cards, or I would have hit the JoHan table and got 3 of those resin 2 and 2 1/2 ton truck cabs. That was a great inventory of resin parts too.
Awesome stuff to buy but the contest were amazing ,thanks Tim for showing this to us ,really enjoyed it.

I've been looking at all the entries trying to select the best as if I was judging. It's impossible.
Thanks again for the awesome video of the show and swap meet!! We'll have another show and swap meet coming up in February. Judging these shows gets more difficult every time due to the quality of builds coming through the doors. We were late handing out trophies trying to decide the "Best Of" awards.

Looked like a great show Tim. Very nice builds on the tables & so many cool kits in the vending area.
About buying built up kits: not a new trend. It has been going on for decades. Folks buy them for all sorts of reasons, sometimes a rare model is found, rebuilding a built up is not nearly expensive as purchasing a rare unbuilt kit. They make a great parts source. They are great to use in a junk yard diorama. I'm sure you can think of many more reasons to buy some. Have a great Sunday & thanks for the show coverage.

They were some great kits I seen that I would love to have. The model contest had some really amazing builds entered. The one that was awesome was the VO5 Shampoo bottle. That was just pure imagination on another level. Thanks for sharing this Tim. Have a great week ahead buddy. Terry

That was a great show Tim. We had a great time yesterday. My sons recently just got into the hobby building tanks. They can’t wait to attend the next show in Owensboro.
Aaaaaa very very cool Chris!!!!!!! There is a IPMS Model Club in Louisville and most of the guys build tanks. You guys might enjoy that club.
Nice show for sure ,the price of some of the kits was really good for the buyer and then I am guessing some of the sellers just wanted to take there kits back home ,Have to say the VO5 car was really cool and way out of the box build are out of the bottle but all and all looked like a good time for all 👍👍👍👍enjoyed thanks Tim

I should have planned my vacation around this show rather than Good Guys. I would have filled my truck and the Cuda I brought back with kits.
Tim I went to GG on Saturday and it was brutally hot. A rain cloud would have been welcomed.

Thank you Joe, yes I do. Doug Wagner at Keystone Aluminum Model Miniatures has everything you would be looking for. He took over AITM (American Industrial Truck Models) after Dave Natel passed away. You will find all kids of different truck cabs there. Hope this helps out, let me know what you find out and how it works out for you.

The thing about the Jo-han stuff you have to watch buying old kits is it might have already been re-released (they even did so with obscure things like Rommel's Rod which I thought would be least likely to come out again) .. I really need those chrysler wing cars and a 69 or 70 Chevelle nascar version

Always interesting that built models are worth practically nothing, $15 for a built car and $30+ for a new one in the box in stores. It's also interesting that you can't give nascars away now. It's like nobody wants them, yet nascar is still popular in the US.

There really is no schedule Ronald but I made a video a couple months ago that you can check out. It's how to find upcoming model contests. If you get a chance to watch it let me know what you think about it.
