Hey! Love all the reviews you do. I’m coming from the Arbor Annex and I’m looking for a Board that can hold an edge really well on groomers at higher speeds and one I can take through trees and powder with no problem while doing some side hits and small jumps here and there. I plan on getting into steeper terrain as well and steeper runs. Im looking at the Mind Expander, Nidecker thruster, k2 excavator, and the k2 Antidote. Thank you so much!
@@AngrySnowboarder thank you! If I wear a size 13 boot and weigh 225 could I get away with the 162 with the excavator? I plan on being around 230 the next couple months.
Hey! I’m 5’5 140lbs size 9-9.5 boot I won’t be riding any crazy powder here in the east coast but I’m a big surfer and need this thing in my life I have an evil twin for park but want a playful board for riding groomers railed side hits and butters. Do you recommend the 146 or 150? Thanks?
Iv been riding full camber park boards for almost 20 years now and thinking of getting something new. I don't really go in the park anymore, so I am looking for something playful that can carve well at slow and medium speeds, but still be kind of stable when I decide to go a bit faster & has good edge hold on groomers. Id also like it to be enjoyable in powder when we get some (east coast). Would you recommend this board? I was also looking at the Mind Expander, Flagship (too much board?), Gremlin, Korua Otto. Or maybe something else you can recommend? Also, I am 5'10 165 lbs 9.5 boots, you think size 54 would be good or should I size up to the 58? Thanks!
Hi Avran, im looking for a quiver board and i really like this one and the Yes standard as well. Wich one do you suggest ? They're quite similar but also different. Thanks!
Demoed the 158 the other day. Felt like the flex was sluggishly stiff. Imagine it would be fun in powder but didn’t find it as fun around the resort. Maybe all the Jones hype set me up for failure but I was somewhat underwhelmed.
Please HELP ME 🙏🙏 It's the first Jones that I'm buying. I'm undecided between the Mind Expander Twin Snowboard and Mountain Twin Snowboard. I have compared them and seem quite the same. The Mountain twin seems better than Mind expander but cheaper. Can someone give me an opinion?
Thinking tweaker or this board. Had so much on the tweaker at demo, but didn't get to try this as some dad took it for the whole day like a free rental.
I think the mit is the better option if you will have only one do it all board bc if it’s powder benefits, if you get the tweaker and have or will have a powder board that’s a different deal
I demoed both and love both. The Tweaker is gonna sell out fast. So keep that in mind. The MIT is my choice, cuz I have several park specific boards like the Tweaker. But a Powder Twin... I don't have that in my quiver.
Hi Avran, when you mention the good butterability of this board, did you mean the general butterability or only for powder? Would it work as well for butters in park / flatland tricks? Thx ✌️
Christenson skull is a classic surf design. That little skull on a surfboard adds about 300 dollars to the resell price most of the time. It’s definitely an acquired taste but I like simplistic design better and that’s why I’ll be getting this and this graphic!
Had a blast on last years model - waiting with baited breath to see what changed.

Mind expander or excavator.

Easily.
Thinking about buying one to pair with my Orion bindings it just thought skate-tech with surf inspired board= Florida mans dream for the snow
This video reminds me how badly i need a bataleon binding review
This video's comment reminds me that I need to edit the Bataleon Binding Reviews.

150
Thanks for the review! Any comments on this one vs marhar lumberjack? (Especially buttering and carving, if you don’t mind)
Lumberjack is better at pow butters due to the flat to rocker. This is slightly better on edge for carving but you can over power it due to the flex.
Hi Avran, one of your binding recommendations was the Bataleon Blaster Asym. Will the Bataleon Astro Fullwrap be to stiff for this board? Thx ✌️
No it just won't let this thing press and play as easily.
@@AngrySnowboarder Thx! 👍

I'd probably go with the Otto for you as that's a good segue away from what you know without it being too directional or overkill. 54 is a great size.

Really depends what you want out of the board.
@@AngrySnowboarder searching for a quite playful board for butters but also good in turning Speed/carving. In powder i think both are good

Would the Union falcor go well with this board in your opinion?
It'll work.

What's your weight? I got the 158 and found it super playful.

can we get a Bataleon Party Wave Twin review pretty please!
If I had one to ride you would, but I don't.
Just bought one. Replacing my capita DOA.
This vs Korua Otta... how do they compare?
Otto is stiffer, more aggressive, and holds a better edge.
Any differences between the 22 & 23 models?

This or Jones Mountain Twin, for all-Mountain? Thx!

Mountain twin for carving, mind expander twin for pow and butters
162 for me? 6‘2“ and 180 lbs. Still playful at that lenght? Thx ✌️
You could go down to the 58 and be fine.

Surprised compared to Orca. Your Orca vid said damp sz down. This video says lively sz up. 🤔

General.
@@AngrySnowboarder Thx 👍
Which quiver would you add to this board? Thinking of something stiffer and directional, my preference is jones or bataleon
Probably the one that holds my arrows would be added, but as no one makes a quiver mount for snowboards it's a lot of DIY.
@@AngrySnowboarder can you explain what you mean?
@@AngrySnowboarder what do you
Mean by “hold my arrows and quiver mount?

I found this graphic better than the old one
How is this review so different from last year’s review? Even the comparable boards are different
sizing makes kind of a difference how the board rides
Looking forward to riding my new whip & hopefully a great winter! A couple videos of my daughter riding are up on my channel.
Looks like I'm screwed.
Sizing up from 150-154 is a big waist width difference.
I loved the old graphic. this year it is pretty boring.

Good thing your only looking at it when your putting it on the rack or taking it off
