    Thank you🙏 Father Anthony! Very interesting and very helpful, especially with the devotions for each temperament. Sanguine and Melancholic. I now better understand why the sorrowful mysteries are my favorite mysteries of the Rosary and my love of the Devine Mercy. Very informative and a great blessing. Thank you so much for doing a talk on this particular topic. May God richly bless you and all the Marian fathers and the work y'all do!

    This is the first time I hear of an excellent explanation of the Four Temperaments, an endless thanks to you, our sanguine speaker, Fr. Anthony. The lessons on today’s talk are so important in knowing our true self in relation to our family, friends and above all, Jesus, the surest way for us to change and be like Him. To imitate Jesus is to follow His footsteps that lead us to a life of holiness, eternal peace and happiness in the kingdom of heaven.
    God bless and prayers for you, Fr. Anthony, and looking forward for more wonderful topics in the future.

    Father Anthony,God bless you for all you put into this program; it was fantastic! I found my temperament and see how it would help me during Lent. All of your homilies are excellent but this program was outstanding especially how you ended with such excellent examples. All of our Marian Priests are so helpful with their homilies and the masses; now I will try to place them with their temperaments, God bless them all and thank you for this excellent experience. 🙏🏼

    Fr. Anthony, I miss your online Masses and homilies. Thank you for this wonderful talk.
    I would like to hearyou speak in more depth on this topic. Before my forced retirement, I was sent to an outside course on the temperments. It was very enlightening (my combination was considered to be only 3% of the world's, making it one of the most difficult for others to understand). I pray for your permanent healing. God bless your priestly ministry.

    Thanks very much for this! I never learned any of it but have always been interested. Lol, I think I might be a tad melancholic, I don't know, I'm not sure, I have to reflect on it some more...🤔. And as soon as you said, "business meeting" my stomach tightened and I looked for the door. I think in almost 30 years of nursing I managed to get out of going to all but two, " But [choleric administrator], someone needs to stay on the unit and take care of the patients. We can't all leave and go to the meeting! I'll be glad to stay here and take care of the patients! Will someone take minutes? I'll read them!! 😁"
    No wonder Jesus led me to St. Faustina...

    Thank you so much for this video Fr. I listened on Sunday and it has sat with me a few days. I realised my own temperament as melancholic. What you talked about the heavy sad heart and it's helping me understand the Choleric types a few of my older siblings who seriously harmed me that they had that driven personality it's their nature and without the light of God the dark side to personality shows up plus they were both bosses in their careers. This was a very enlightening video. It's made me aware also of the extremely stressful target driven work environment I was in was too overwhelming and I had an artistic side unfortunately I didn't develop enough. What an interesting video when it comes to our religious life. Definitely makes us more aware. Thank you

    This was fabulous ! I Definitely want to share and keep. It is no surprise that you are sanguine Father Anthony. Here are my observations; Father Chris, Choleric-Sanguine; Father Kaz, phlegmatic-sanguine; Father Matt, phlegmatic-sanguine; Father Mark, choleric-sanguine; Father David, phlegmatic-choleric; Father Andy, sanguine, Brother Ken, sanguine; Cameraman Giuseppe, definitely sanguine. I’m going to qualify my observations by adding that although in my personal observation is that some are choleric in temperament, none of you has the vice of pride. I have a couple of questions thinking about my family are these temperaments genetic in nature? I am going to look for those tests online thank you. I will be very surprised if my temperament is not sanguine-phlegmatic God bless you Fr Anthony. This was a great talk. Prayers for you. Guess I should find a test. I couldn't figure out which one. I have components of all four primary temperaments. One is least likely, but three were highly likely. Is that a good sign or bad sign? But today I think I'll guess choleric mix phlegmatic with the other two mixed as my lesser temperament. Well - at least if I am mixed, then it's gratifying to know that is closer to Our Lord's temperament. 🤭🤷‍♀️🤗

    Father, what Temperament Test online, do you suggest we take?

  • @RobOnBass23
    @RobOnBass23 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Father, I know you said that we are not to strive towards becoming a different temperament, but did not Jesus instruct us to love others as we love ourselves (Sanguine)? I took the temperament test and I am Choleric. In my daily life, I get very angry and impatient which leads to lots of sin. My wife and kids surely suffer emotionally as I put my head down and work on my selfish pursuits while they are left out in the cold. It would seem that I should strive towards becoming more Sanguine, caring for others. I often judge myself harshly for not having more friends, not being comfortable in public, not feeling comfortable in social interactions... I feek like these are character flaws that i need to fix, but according to this talk, I am more or less stuck this way and must somehow life virtuously despite these flaws?

    • @ellenmaguire194
      @ellenmaguire194 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, you must strive for holiness. You cannot use your temperament as an excuse to treat people badly, especially your wife and kids. That is an act of the will, a choice. You can feel they emotions without letting them erupt. Regular confession, holy communion and visits to the Blessed Sacrament will give you the grace to turn your vices into virtues

    • @RobOnBass23

      @@ellenmaguire194I do all that and more. Attend mass each Sunday, go to confession, say the Angelus prayer, the st Micheal prayer, have holy imagery in the house, use holy water, bless my house and my children, say binding prayers, the unity prayer, play praise music, read the Bible every night with my children.. to the outside observer I am surrounded on all sides by God, but nevertheless my mind and soul are under constant attack.
