i can get a 4-1 like the one here in less than 5 minutes at worst, sometimes i can get 2 or 3 runs at 9.3 or lower in 10 runs, and all that consistently, but out of 30 4-2 attempts, only two successfully made it out with both skull skips, and even then i performed rather poorly. shoutouts to dk though, because i would otherwise be at 0 total red skulls were it not for him lol, these skips are really hard. 4-3 and 4-4 were terribly messy but ive given them little practice (previous patch 4-4 sort of doesnt count), and for only getting to try them a couple times, and under the pressure simply needing to clear them as finally escaped 4-2, it is not too upsetting. however, i would like to think i can do much, much better, my greed layer runs have quite a long way to go really.
also i think the audio is mono for some reason?? lmao

@@CoGrynasenbaer in the red skull area is a crusher you can use to shred enemies. By not breaking any glass while red skull fight, you can use whiplash to place red skull key to its place and stand on top of glass. The insurrectionist always fall onto you in his introduction so you have to see him fall into the crushers and quickly get out.

im actually pretty sure its just a pit? since you get +fall instead of something like +minced or +shredded or +crushed, but whatever the case its an instakill so it doesnt really matter too much lmao

Quiet nice save on 4-4, very interesting speedrun with good technique fulfilment
i'm glad i can recognize most if not all the tech used in this speedrun, yet, i'm sad that i can't perform half of it

kind of have to give a lot of it dedicated practice for a while before its generally applicable

You probably know this already, but the way I like to insta kill malicious faces is by going under it, railcoining and then throwing another coin while the beam is still going. It deals insane amounts of damage and I always use it when I know I have time to charge the railgun back up
depends on the situation, mal rail is versatile but with the cooldown its got i can only use it so many times in a run, and overpump also kills quick and is "free" by comparison
You can also do this with a normal revolver charge if you time the switch right, although it's probably too impractical for a normal run

Ohh i recommned the rocket launcher instead of the core eject for the end gate boosting. its takes practice, but you wont lose health

imagine if we can soap v2 and gabe
for gabe it actually wouldnt make a huge difference, would be a couple seconds of time save, 1-4 v2 soap would be a detriment, and currently soap would help against v2 in 4-4, but when greed first released there was an instakill that soap would only save about a second over LOL

First off, absolutely insane run. Secondly you must tell me if that 4-2 strat can work for weaponless. The time save would be godly
i imagine it would, it would just be just as hard as it is in any%. dm me on discord and i can see if i can tell you what dk told me, and you could also probably ask him for info on that too
it probably would be possible! just whiplash the red skull and time it so that the enemies trigger right as the insurrection isn't spawns, then go around the glass so it jumps in and dies
@@fordalels it 100% is possible and part of the weaponless% route now. Main difference is actually with the blue skull tho!

can you explain to me how you launched yourself seems fun to do
if you press shift while in air to ground pound against a wall and then wall jump off of the wall, you get the ground pound particles on your screen after the jump. if you then press space immediately after touching the ground again, you get launched. its called slam storage.
