I'm interested in buying the Garmin - Tread - Overland Edition 8" tablet which Garmin states is 1.2" deep. Will the KEMIMITO hold the Garmin Tread? What is the maximum depth of a tablet that the KEMIMOTO will hold?

I am pretty sure that will be too deep. I run a Samsung galaxy tab 8in in a thick case and it slides in pretty snug and it is less than 1 inch

Looks so easy without the windshield :) Not so easy to put the service cover back on :( Otherwise, it was simple and looks clean,

It's trickier that way. I just took mine off to put better weatherstripping on it. It's way easier with no windshield:)

It's has actually been really good. I have no regrets and would buy it again if needed.i have had it all over moab and in the sand dunes and it held my tablet very solid

Tablet seems to handle the normal travel shocks while held in the holder without problems?

I have not had an issue. I have my tablet in a pretty thick case also. I just did 4 days of rough trails in Kanab Utah and have still had zero issues. I did upgrade to better weather stripping around the holder though

Still holds up well. The crappy part is the weather strip they use. I'll be upgrading the weatherstripping soon though
