That was a lot of fun! Good story, really well filmed. I also like you showing rolling up the blanket with items inside, and the glass bottle flask. The dynamite looked darned good, too!
Thank you so much!
Agreed. The western wear and props were instrumental in making this film stand out. Beautiful scenery and interesting camera work didn't hurt either.
Agreed. Many subtle details throughout enhanced the effectiveness of the storyline. They did such an awesome job with this film! Very impressive for young filmmakers.
3:50, wait, you might need my Daisy Red rider 😆
Wow, beyond AWESOME guys!
Classic western drama about the difference between vengeance and justice. Wonderfully filmed with creative camera angles, and fine performances.
And a memorable final showdown filled with suspense and, again, excellent camera work. The flashback sequences during that scene were very effective in tying it all together too.
Loved the Ghost Riders In The Sky" music choice as well.
Such a thoughtfully-presented western that brought back fond memories for lovers of the genre. Thanks for an outstanding shoot-em-up effort.
Spectacular movie, brilliant work with this one! Love the post-credit scene!
Thank you sir
That scene was worth sticking around for. Bet some missed it by leaving when the credits started to roll. Good things come to those who wait.
Yes! That was a nice bonus for those who stuck around long enough to enjoy it. An example of the amount of thought that went into this work.
Django? The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly? Once Upon a Time in the West? They all take a backseat compared to this masterpiece of modern cinema. The drama is drawn out longer than anything even Sergio Leone could imagine, leading to a satisfying and intense conclusions. I was intrigued from the start. Aside from one disturbing torture scene, this film is family fun for all to enjoy. 4 stars out of 3. Two and a half thumbs up.
I don't know about "taking a back seat," but yes. I think Sergio would approve. Lol.
Wow
Nice job, also a big thumbs up for the audio, often times it gets overlooked.
Thank You!!
So true. The selection of Ghost Riders In The Sky worked well too. But you're right... the complete audio track was excellent.
Yes... good filmmaking allows... even encourages... you to appreciate the entirety of the work. That's an indication that a lot of thought and effort went into it.
They just get better and better
this deserves 1 mil
Thanks yo
Great film Brian, Soundtrack was on point!!
I could practically see that Ghost Rider In The Sky! Lol.
Excellent work! I am so impressed with attention to detail and the storyline. You kids are awesome!
Even better that they're applying their talents to westerns... my favorite genre.
They certainly hit this one out of the park. Or, more appropriately, SHOT it out of the park. Very impressive.
great job brian you guys did awesome
Thank you bro!
good job Brian, keep up the great work!!
Thanks cuh
Hey my boy scout mess kit !!
Super awesome Flix !!!!!
Yeah it was my dads!
Best “Spaghetti Western” I’ve seen this year!
Thank you sir!
They really used their noodle on this one, no doubt about it. Keeping the genre alive big time!
This was awesome guys! Terrific storyline, top-notch performances with gritty action scenes, and beautifully filmed. Nice props too that added an element of authenticity that so many amateur productions lack. That scene after the closing credits was clever and hysterical... a nice touch. I really enjoyed this. Thanks from a new subscriber for an outstanding effort.
Hey thank you so much!
@@OfficialPineappleLeaf It was my pleasure.
Getting a lot of firepower out of them Red Rider BB guns.
Brilliant!
Eye candy for fans of westerns for sure!
Well done. I like the music and the acting was good. It may have been more convincing if the actors looked old enough to shave. Btw, were those tough outlaws playing go fish???
Yup they were haha. Thank you!
The woo woo harmony vocals could be polished up a tad.
Prop Looks like a Daisy Bee Bee gun or an old air rifle. Holster falling off the kids butt. Rope escape and fight pretty lame. You draw scenes out way too long the last gun fight scene was ridiculously (21:36 til 23:50)long, My logic is that you post these shorts so people can critic them and help you improve your product so it is with that in mind that I tell you what I notice. I love watching shorts. These are things that are easily corrected and are not costly. Keep up your hard work.
Nice!!! 👏🏻👏🏻 where'd y'all film this?
The the River Mountains in Henderson Nevada
@@OfficialPineappleLeafBeautiful country and the perfect location choice. The landscape did much to enhance the film.
Which middle school drama team was this?
A brand new pot on the cooking fire.
..blacken it next time.
The hats…😂
Why is it no one rides a horse in these short films???
@@BuckPeel budget
Little baby soy-boys never spent ten seconds in the the old west, simply did not.
At 8:25 was that a pepsi soda can?
were those bb-guns?
All the rifles were, but the pistols were real black powder guns.
@@OfficialPineappleLeafThe props were awesome... especially the pistols, holsters, and gunbelts. Added nice authenticity to your film.
Didn't get past the intro; these are just kids.
😶😲😲😲
Breaks free , knocks his enemy out ,and walks through their camp without even taking his gun ? Really ? Pretty simple mistake . Also the kid with his gunbelt falling down his ass , the location of the legwound would shatter the femur , and you wouldn't be walking at all . Pretty good storyline but , the self inflicted errors really hurt the production . The devil is always in the details .
Daisy BB guns??? Really??? I mean come on guys
We were kids. Give it a rest.
@@OfficialPineappleLeaf I was just picking at you. Seriously it was pretty dang interesting
What I'd like to know is how did you get the sound effects so realistic and the smoke from the muzzle was spot on. Y'all should do more westerns
@@GarryRobinson-nk5dl I got a pack off the internet for free. It was from a TH-cam channel called, “Film Riot” and was a video about either muzzle flashes, or western muzzle flashes.
BB guns for Winchester's What a joke!
To much of walking no action...

Where Does a Wash go, or come from? A horse could not climb that wash, to their hideout!
Freshly shaved or too young for stubble
..do it right people, watch other movies and see their mistakes.
These guys talking too slow and beyond their age.
Just tryin to help.
They had braces back then ? Dull acting .
Lmao
I had to stop watching finally because of the music
Chimes or what?
Why? I thought it worked well. Certainly appropriate for a spaghetti western.
Really! A Daisy BB gun and bad singing.
Man I bet this shit sucks (dont worry I'm good friends with jeffrey, I'm just kidding).

Stopped halfway through as the whole thing was ridiciulously stupid. He's hiding behind a rock, but when he goes forward from the rock, the shot comes from behind him. He over powers the one cowboy with such ease and then speaks to him out loud. He first goes for the whiskey, rather than the guns...duh. Besides what bad guys leave their guns all over the ground between them and their hostage. Poorly and stupidly written.
Thumbs down. No hot women.
L
lol!
Poor acting. Poorly delivered lines. But what kept drawing me OUT of the film was that everything was too clean. The young star's hat had obviously never been warn before. His haircut was 150 years out of style. The bad guy's rope was brand new, never before used. The music attempted to imitate classic old westerns, but seemed inappropriate for the walking across desert scene. But adding Ghost Riders In The Sky was laughable. I mean, you didn't intend for viewers to laugh, did you? I watched till the very end, searching for something good to say. But instead I was rewarded with an unsatisfying, unrealistic ending. If I had directed this, I would have chalked it up as a learning experience and never forced anyone to watch it. You stole 25 minutes of my life.
