Oof 😅 so long story short, the part time faculty at my school went on strike (so they stopped teaching classes) and some of the full time faculty also went on strike in solidarity (so those classes stopped as well). The strike ended in the final week of classes, but it lasted for I think like 27 days or something. Longest strike in history 😬
May I ask, what was your experience before getting into the PhD program? I just graduated with my Bachelor’s but not sure if that’s enough to compete for a spot in a PhD program!!
Oof my experience was not a lot Lol I have a video here on my channel that I explains my whole journey before getting into my program and why it played out the way it did (that might help ease some of your worries). Getting into a PhD program directly from undergrad is extremely difficult due to how competitive programs are, but it’s not impossible! I wasn’t able to do it, but I know folks who have.
How is that going with classes? What does that even mean there is no classes?
