- Talking about his early years as an actor Rana Daggubati said, "I was trying to convince producers in Telugu to say 'Hey we can actually make a film in Hindi and there are things we can do together'. The industries were doing the same thing but no one spoke to one another. In some ways, Baahubali and Ghazi became the first two films to shatter all these things and emerge as one industry."

I love Rana's personality. But the nepotistic questions should actually ask whether they are abusing outsiders. If you are from a film family, you will definitely have an advantage, but are you using that power to oppress someone or are you using that power to build great opportunities for the next generation? I dont understand why none of the journalists ever ask this question.
For example, take Sukumar, with "Sukumar writings", is giving opportunity to a lot of his assistant directors. Take Rana, he promoted a small budget movie like "c/o Kancharapalem" so much. I dont see that kind of a push in Bollywood. This is the main reason, why in Telugu film industry, stars are not attacked by nepotism questions.
Legends like NTR, ANR, Aswini Dutt, Ramoji Rao, Ramanaidu and many others literally built it from the ground up. There is also a film institute run by Akkinenis, to create filmmakers. So, TFI is really trying hard, because all Telugus love movies. Also, until now in Telugu, we only had Hero's from film family. Actresses, background artists, technicians are all outsiders, unlike Bollywood. I am sure more technicians from film families will emerge in coming decades, more women will join films, because TFI is becoming profitable, and well - organized.
My favorite and real star of bahubali this man really deserve that kind of movie special i called the real star and should be in Hollywood

At the end nobody can take away his stardom....if you see any director that had larger than life character their one and only option is prabhas. It doesn't make sense when people talk about pan-India movie started from Bahubali movie (Telugu Industry). People tend to forget that Maniratnam made pan-India Tamil movie called "Roja" in 1990s. I am sure, every one would have seen it in their own regional language. He did Bombay, Guru after that....

Roja was hit in all languages but Bahubali shook Indian box office to such an extent that it is blockbuster in every language it got released. Even before Roja there where many PAN Indian films, Malayalam films has done long back even Rana said the same in this interview. Why no one recall Roja or any other PAN Indian hit film is because they where just hits didn’t shook respective industry records. Example Baahubali2 is all time blockbuster in hindi when it released, Roja was a hit film in hindi but it wasn’t a all time blockbuster in hindi.
My Bengali work colleague said for baahubali2 people from Bangladesh came in buses to his village just to watch the film, tats the impact bb2 made on Indian cinema
