We have learned so much from you all, we had our first kidding experience on Christmas Day, Nellie the doe got down and couldn’t stand up for about 4 weeks, the vet checked her out and said because she had more than one baby in there it was most likely a pinched nerve, she gave us 2 of the prettiest little does ever, she prolapsed and we called the vet and she bring her and the babies in that day and she would fix her right up. While moving her into position to put her parts back in she felt a crunchy feeling in her spine, X-rays showed a compression fracture, long story I know but we lost Nellie that night and I have two little girls corralled in the living room and bottle feeding them. Today New Year’s Eve, Noi our other doe gave us another little baby doe and all went well this time and both are doing great. We love our goats more than most people we know I think. Thank you for your videos and all the great info.

I dont know much about goats..can your ither babies get colostum frim the other goat? And like horses if you rub poi from mom on babies they will accept them? Untill you can put them on a lamb bar? Just curious and learning

Lucky is such a stallion! The Lucky strut was in full swing with those stiffened back legs. Our boys are growing the hair back on their heads too. Thanks for confirming what I was thinking was the problem a couple months ago.

Gosh I love the way they charge its so funny. Cracks me up. 😂
Watching the video again, as usual for me, and just came to the soap cutting part. While I watched you slicing the different soap profiles I noticed something.
Crystal, you probably already noticed and figured this out. The fluffy, high swirls might be adding more weight so each slice in different amounts. Let’s say you cut each bar 1” thick they will all be a different weight due to the extra fluffy swirls. This is not a criticism or know it all thing, I’m very math challenged and this would make me cry.
It was so fun seeing the reveal for each slice I’m so glad you included that in the video.
