man, suddenly realized just how bad i was at playing this game as a kid, had never thought back on it. my sims were apparently constantly in aspiration failure, the doctor NPC guy was basically always on my lot as well as the social bunny. have a vivid memory of my sim getting sick into the toilet, flushing and cleaning it, then turning around to speak to the social bunny.
Joy Despret has infiltrated Caliper and Tongs' game, that is NOT very stunning. So glad you're a fellow Juno Birch fan! She's actually how I got into the Sims!
I discovered this a while ago by accident when I was moving Beau Broke with the move objects cheat. There's a slot on the pinball machine so anything you can place there ends up attached to the ball and moves around with it (not everything can be placed on the pinball machine though.)
22:17 When you start veronaville it’s scripted that Titania will have the want to adopt a child. Both puck and bottom were adopted too. So I think that room is supposed to be for the third kid!
24:38 In The Sims 1, you can in fact get an insanely high pile of plates! Tube Cody did a video on that, titled "How many plates can you pick up in The Sims 1?"
I think I probably wouldn't know if I hadn't seen it in some promotional material back in the day since you have to have high body skill but also a very active Sim. If they don't have enough active points in their personality the option won't show up even if they have max body skill.
I definitely think Veronaville is underrated. It was the first Maxis hood I went back to after reinstalling the game a few years ago and The Summerdreams are one of my favourite Sim families.
I wanna do so much of this but I don't wanna break my town. Also omg I need to watch the video that changes the word bubble text because that's HILARIOUS
Yeah the object NPC's (or at least Mrs Crumplebottom can't remember if this happens with other object NPCs,) have some weird thing going on with their aspirations where it seems to randomly reset now and then. At other times her aspiration would randomly be platinum.
Toddlers don't have options to play with toys that aren't on the same floor as them. If they're upstairs and the toys are downstairs, they have no options to play with them. At least in my game this is what happens. 😅
Oh I never noticed that. That might explain why some of them couldn't use the toys then. I thought that Mrs Crumplebottom couldn't be placed in the high chair but looking back at an older video she could be placed in it but when she's in the chair Sims can't give her food so that might actually be the same for the other NPC's since I didn't try putting then in the chair and then giving them food.
Why normal playable Big Foot lost his fur when they aged into elder though? In normal game they age like other sim and when they become elders they were supposed to have gray fur. Is there's some logic game executes during normal birthday which the "hourglass mod" doesn't run, what causes Sim to lose BF appearance?
I did mess with him a while back trying to move him from Strangetown to Blightgate (it didn't really work lol.) I can't say I'll never make another video involving him but at this point a bunch of people have already made videos showing how his toddler form works and stuff like that, so unless I get some ideas that I don't think have been explored (or it fits some storyline,) I probably won't.
I don't know at what point it becomes classified as corruption per se, but messing around with the object NPC's does save to the object package file and in some cases this can effect regular gameplay. I could be wrong about this but when the Three Lakes bigfoot had a flashing blue face I think it's because the original bigfoot's face was missing. If that also effects him while he's in The Hidden Burrow lot then he could end up with a missing face there too but I'd have to test that. On top of that there might be unseen side effects of messing with that file/NPC's that I haven't noticed yet. The Three Lakes Bigfoot should be fine to mess with since you can move him in during regular gameplay anyway. You'll just have to use mods to edit his appearance if that changes while aging him up/down and if you age him down he'll have weird animations.
Oh I created him using a custom Bigfoot skintone and some custom demon eyes. I wanted his appearance to be similar to Bigfoot so it would fit into the in universe lore/aesthetic but with more clothing options. I don't think you were supposed to ever see the actual Mr Monster. I think he was just meant to call your Sim and threaten them but I could be wrong. It would have been funny if they actually had an NPC come round and eat cereal for several hours instead of sending your Sim kid off to military school like in The Sims 1, but I think that would get old after a while lol.
I’d love to see you open a store and sell Mrs Crumplebottom’s purses in it.
I might try that later it would be funny if you could sell them. Might try and sell some of the other NPC/debugging objects too.
@@CalipersandTongs is there a way to force object to be sell able?
15:17 LMAOOO she might keep changing the name all she wants but it'll never change that she is in fact a pesky joy despret
Mrs. Crumplebottom is super neat, so she's happy to clean all of these plates, lol
Does this mean that you could generate an infinite amount of Crumplebottom purses? 😂🤔
Yeah she seems to have an endless supply of purses she summons from the abyss.

Can't get enough of Calipers and Tongs kind of drama 🤣😍
15:10 I didn't expect to witness the Joy Despret in your videos omfg 💀💀💀 lovely video though
Yeah I didn't realise at first that it was the same Sim and then had to mention that lol.
I really like how chaotic your neighborhoods are!!
watching your videos feels like feeding my inner child a full course meal

Love your videos so much ❤️ I’m getting a new pc soon so can actually play sims 2 ultimate collection again 😃😃😃
1:05:10 The laggy teleport for a lack of walking animation is the same that child ghosts have.
Yeah you're right I think that must be what happens when the game doesn't know what walk animation to use or it's missing for an age/gender group.
@@CalipersandTongs Agreed!
Although at least for the ghosts it's spookier, lowkey better that way lmao
I also noticed the Circe personality on her lol
This is what I use my brain capacity for.
10:19 Woah! I didn't expect it to move!

i need you to know that you are one of my favorite youtubers ever lol
watching your videos brings me so much joy and nostalgia
Genesis Lee being Joy Despret has me shook
23:40 Mrs Crumplebottom is happy walking because she is a neat sim who enjoys washing dishes.
I think that's the first time I noticed her walking like that lol so it confused me.

I love to see you open a store and Mrs crumplebottom"s

1:02:06 Bigfoot Bigfoot with that Castaway Stories Orangutan stature.
20:53, wait how did I never know sims with full body skills can do yoga on side tables?

Veronaville is awesome, the Summerdreams especially

(im aroace)
Me too
42:07 It's odd that she went into aspiration failure, given that she achieved her Lifetime Want

calipers ur so cool i wish you existed
I exist (I think,) although I am disembodied on TH-cam lol.

He kinda looked like Father Time
Yeah the Therapist, Father Time and Santa (in his thumbnail not in the game,) all have very similar facial structures.
yay a new upload!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are y going to do more videos
I've been working on my next video on/off so it will come out eventually. I've just been very unfocussed lately.
That SimDNA cheat is really cool and now I wanna play with it :D
I have an idea can u adopt Knut fruta

Is your game corrupt for using npc abojects and u can use big foot the safe sim u can ask to move in.
