I have a theory about why the puppy with human mesh switches between puppy idle pose and baby idle animation and all related interactions. Info about the sim has both a token making him a puppy and a token making him a human baby, and one overrides the other. The aging system considers him a dog, but his interactions are human-like. When other sims try to interact with him, the interactions keep conflicting with either one token or the other, making none of them functional. When he is aged up, the system gets rid of the tokens to replace them with a token fitting for the new lifestage, and because the age system considers him a dog, the system goes for the adult dog token and allows dog interactions to work as intended. This is all just speculation, though. I haven't checked the game's code.

What I mean is if the house phone, if placed in a few rooms, can be used simultaneously to call different people, or just one, like it was in the 00s? And what about cellphones then? I'm asking because I know sims who are being called are treated as if being present on the lot, so I was curious if the butler would call the police if a burglar was called. And if the butler didn't have a spare phone to call?

I was watching another video previous to this where they tried adding him to the family, setting him on fire, putting him in doorless rooms, putting him on the roof of the house, and setting pickpockets and burglars on him, but nothing prevented him from his mission of delivering the Sims 3 computer to you. Now I'm seeing not even DEATH can stop this man from delivering his desktops. What a determined Sim.

24:18 - The exact thing happened in my first save of Belladonna Cove which I eventually deleted to focus on other neighbourhoods. I'm not sure what the exact cause of the bug was. But it happened in early 2013 after I'd installed some stuff packs. And accidentally tried to load the game with the wrong disc. When I loaded Belladonna Cove, I discovered that the neighbourhood had been completely reset. Not only that. But all the Sims from the Magic sub-neighbourhood and any Sims generated by the game prior to the bug occurring were gone. I was able to bring them all back at a questionable price. As they all had the following deformities: They were all identified by the game as adult men, regardless if they were supposed to be female or another age besides adult. They all had no aspirations, personality points, skill points, or family ties. They all had a random set of interests. They all had an F report card. Their aspiration levels were rock bottom. They all had top fitness with no fitness flags. They were all voiced by Stephen Kearin. Since I didn't have SimPE at the time, I just had to make do with what I had. And fix up what I could. In order to fix the family ties, I had Mary and Nathan Gavigan adopt Isaiah Gavigan. And have Florence Delarosa adopt all the Newson siblings. Aside from fixing their ages, aspirations, personality points, skill points, and interests, I pretty much had to make do with the remaining deformities until I decided to delete the neighbourhood altogether.

How did you get more than 3 ghosts to appear at one time in 25:11? The quantity of ghosts is always capped at 3 in my game. So summoning any more does nothing.

You are correct in saying that the second Mrs. Crumplebottom is a clone of the first Mrs. Crumplebottom. You can have up to two of the same Sim at one time. But you can only control the first of each Sim. It's pretty hilarious since they don't understand that they are interacting with themselves when they do so. And if they attack themselves, they will get both a memory of winning the fight and of losing the fight.

broken sims and bugs don't phase me but somehow seeing CAS from other angles is so freaky to me lol. I feel like im snooping in God's bedroom or something

I'm at the beginning (kinda using these videos as background, but I do check them out) and omg that backstory YOUR MIND bestie I can't or maybe I just suck at storytelling and I always just used to make my sims like... boring and happy. Happy sims, happy plantsims, happy vampires.. it was pretty vanilla, but this is great

I remember reading about the secret subhoods on the Sims wiki as a kid and being so curious about them, but also thinking I was really weird for obsessing over that. And now I'm finding that other people were curious about them too and have even carried out the experiments I used to imagine doing? 10 year old me is ecstatic.

You could have used the CAS trick of resetting sliders to give them bunny ears, or at very least, long ears.
