l can't wait for the show at the Edgefield! This is our 5th time seeing Portugal as a family. The first time we saw them live was under the St. Johns Bridge, a benefit for shelter animals. This time we have 3 generations of family since we are bringing our 11-year-old grandson who is blind and also experiences autism. He loves music, and he plays the piano and the harmonica. His first show was Death Cab for Cutie, so we are super stoked to continue the family tradition sharing an awesome band, Portugal the Man!!!😍
That’s awesome. I took my two stepsons to see them at the Secret Society in 2017 and my stepdaughter in 2018 at the Edgefield. They are definitely one of my faves, not just locally.
Awesome. I was just catching up on all the posts about Frances over the weekend. I was in the dark about everything going on in the Gourley’s lives as I was dealing with my own health issues the last couple months. I bet she appreciated the gift.
I’ve seen both bands multiple times. They both can knock it out of the park easily. PTM covers Pantera, Slayer, and Metallica like nobody’s business. I have videos on my channel showing it done effortlessly.
This was a surprise set for their new album. It was only an hour long and not in a venue for a typical concert. I believe there will be more songs for the actual tour, but I don’t know the Setlist.
Saw a live show shortly after Feel It Still - I was very happy they played a well balanced mix of their older and newer stuff. You can play their old stuff all day long without complaining about album release sets. I do it all the time.
He talks about the upcoming tour and that they will play some early songs. I saw they played "Guns and Dogs" at Bonaroo. But, with so many albums gettin tough to touch them all for s ure.

It's because PTM took 6 years to release an underwhelming album. They're a forgettable band now.

Disappointing set list. It’s crazy how they neglect their catalogue pre 2013.
