While I agree that Up is the saddest Disney movie, they didn't even pick the saddest scene from the movie. The saddest is when he's sitting alone in the house at Paradise Falls, and he sees the "Stuff I'm Gonna Do" part of the photo album filled with pictures from their marriage. And the note Ellie left at the end. :'( Jeez just thinking about it gets me all teary eyed.
And how he expects it to be her "adventures" but the whole time it was the time she spent with him that she cherished the most i'm crying writing this!
Toy Story is probably the best movie sequels from Pixar. It really made me burst into tears everytime watching its ending, no matter how many times I have watched it. Maybe because it was like a long journey, I mean they showed us all the good times in first and second movies and then it all must end. It's truly a masterpiece in animated movie history
I think Toy Story 3 hit a lot of us hard. I mean, we were kids when Andy was a kid and just as he was going away to college, a lot of us were, too. We grew up with Andy, and for me it was kind of like seeing my childhood slip away, just like Andy's did. Everyone's excited for the future and college...But we'll never forget how wonderful it was to be a kid.
That moment really hit home with me, I cried in the theater and I couldn't speak in the car. When I headed off to college I left my Transformers collection in the hands of my friend's young son. I had that exact same moment telling him about them all, what they were, the tales and adventures I'd had with them, and when I saw Optimus Prime in the bottom of the box I had that exact same moment of hesitation. We spent the next three hours playing together, an epic battle between Autobots and Decepticons.
Yeah, I know exactly what you're saying. Toy Story was such a huge part of my childhood, and so were my toys of course. I still can't watch that scene from Toy Story 3 without having tears, and I rarely cry for anything. I know what you mean when you say you can personally relate to Andy when you see him having to leave behind his childhood, I know it's weird but I cant help it, it's just about the most emotional attachment to anything on television I've ever had. In my opinion, that Pixar moment should have been the saddest, because as sad as the Up scene was, as well as the Monsters Inc. one, from what I have seen, there just aren't as many people who were as profoundly impacted by them as there was for Woody and Andy. Probably because of precisely what you were claiming, there are a lot of people who watched the first and second movie when they were kids countless times (and maybe even had them as their favorite movies like me), and were just around near college when the third one came out. So, a lot of us had to go through our own transition along with Andy and were forced to look back at our own childhood, which is what made it so darn sad....
I definitely agree, I bawl like a baby through Up but I relate much more to Toy Story 3. I had such an attachment to my toys as a child because I didn't have many friends so my toys basically were my friends. Then over time I just had to give them away because I grew up and it was almost like seeing my friends disappear. Growing up is a wonderful thing, you learn to appreciate things more and experiences like traveling become so much more beautiful. But still, being a child is nothing that can even be compared to. You have all the energy and imagination in the world and even if you're alone and have no one to share that with...You're still happy. You can create entire worlds in your head and nothing needs to be proven to you. Happiness and imagination just comes so easily, and I really miss that feeling.
I had a similar story. I never really connected with people, and I had a tendency to be antisocial because I just couldn't really understand or bond on any emotional level. But when it came to toys, I had a completely different experience. I was so close to them, they were like my friends, too. And, no matter what happened, as harsh as it should have been, that remarkable child spirit allows you to always see greatness so effortlessly. Its like pure contentment and sheer joy are always so quick to come by,.because it takes only a little self-endeavor to obtain them. I truly miss it, too. When I use to watch Toy Story, I use to hold my own toys so they would watch and I would tell them how we would always be together, so they wouldn't have to worry because I was never going to grow up. I remember being so confused why anyone would let such precious companions slip away so easily. But when you're little you don't realize that you stray off to different worlds so simply and often, that when you grow you're forced to see more of reality until it becomes difficult to see otherwise. Then everything is filled with complications and limits, and you learn to take the factual for what it is for better or for worst. Yet, I do wish that it was still so trouble-free to try to look past the mundane and see the captivating realm that is the boundless territory of imagination and carefree wonder. But, unfortunately life forces you to grow out of having that feeling come so undemanding-like. As much as I too appreciate the lessons of time, and the gaining of wisdom that can only come from age, I can't help missing being a kid. Given also that Toy Story was so dear to me as a child, this is why that heartfelt moment from Toy Story hits me so hard every time. And I know we aren't the only ones who grew up with Andy and related to him when he was a kid enthusiastic about his toys, and then when he was aging out of them. Even when people try to be childish it's never truly there its like you lost the natural inclination. At the same time of all this, I'm grateful for maturity, but I mean come on. Why is that life can't allow us to feel like a kid again, just for a day? Oh, I think maybe I took my toy days for granted, I don't even recall when they ended.
And I cried again when Carl saw that Ellie had put pictures of them in her "Things I'm Going To Do" part of her adventure book and signed it, "Thanks for the adventure, now go have a new one! Love, Ellie."
That is literally one of the ONLY Pixar movies that made me cry, the other one being Toy Story 2. Both had me crying for the downfall of innocent childhood, the loss of innocents and all the things that go away when you grow up. So sad... I'm not ready to grow up! But it's happening. And even though it's hard to let go, childhood memories will always be with us.
I was in the theater watching Up. The guy next to me started bursting out crying. When I asked him whats wrong he said " My wife died of cancer 2 months ago, we were married for 46 years, I held her hand while she died, her last words were " These were the best 46 years of my life, I love you" It was his anniversary when she died.
*because... Emily was just the same, she was my whole world...* -Jessie *I will never let anything happen to you, Nemo* -Marlin *So long, partner* -Woody *Thanks for the adventure- now go have a new one!* - Ellie
Because of that scene in Toy Story 2 I still have not gotten rid of my Jessie doll. I went through my old toys recently, and I couldn't bring myself to get rid of any one of them T_T Instead I will save them for my future children!
At 07:43 When Woody "waves goodbye" at Andy and he sucks in his breath and realizes this is it....it's goodbye to his friends. You can't hold it back any longer. The montage on "UP" is a brilliant piece of work. A masterpiece in storytelling. All the emotion and with no words. Simply brilliant. In tears at the end and not ashamed to say so.
I hear they might make a toy story 4. In my opinion, it is completely unnecessary. I know the writers said it will be about a different group of toys, but it will still ruin an original classic for me.
ElmerFudd16 I don't know man, Toy Story 4 is going to be a romantic comedy apparently. Seems like it's drfting from what made the Toy Story trilogy so damn good, and it doesn't seem quite right to me. However, we can only wait till the film is out to judge.
Here's what they should do: Cancel Toy Story 4. Make a TV show about the toys' adventures under Bonnie's ownership, like little vingettes about their time there. That way, they don't ruin the movies, but we still get more material and it'd probably be more entertaining than anything on Disney Channel now.
FlareNetworkC i think the only way toy story 4 would work is if another time skip happens bonnie is about to go to college and she'll be in the same position as andy is on the thrid, they go to a crazy adventure, and at the end they go back tto andy, but this time he's married and has a kid and the kid will play with them, and toys will be kept in andy's family and descendants, and that would be the end
person: hey I bet you 10 bucks you can't watch this with out crying me:*looks at title and hands over 10 bucks* person: but you didn't even watch the video me: just take it, Pixar made me cry over two volcanoes I'm not doing this
8:53 Monsters inc. where Sully leaves his friend boo. Sully: Goodbye boo. Boo: Kitty. Sully: Kitty has to go. Then they hug and then sully puts her down heads straight to the door then he looks at boo one more time and then he closes her door. After that boo opens her door and she only sees her closet. That scene makes me cry every time. 9:46 is when I cried
Lol for me, Toy Story 4 is already out, I actually watched it today. Just gotta say, in my opinion, the ending is really sad. Like I was borderline botta cry 😢
To date, Up has the saddest intro of any Disney movie it tops Bambi for cryin' out loud IT HAS ME TEARING UP!!! (damn you Up...makin' people like me shed a tear...XD)
i knowww like that bit always makes me cry because they had been planning this their whole lives and never got there and then when it was finally about to happen and start this adventure they had always said they would have ellie didn't make it and ahdsfkfsajsadhakjhkhjhkj THIS FILM HURTS ME IN SO MANY WAYS
I think that The Incredibles is one of the Pixar movies that didn't have an extremely sad scene like the other movies. Except the part where Bob thinks that his family died on the plane crash but that didn't get to me as much as Toy story or UP did.
WusspoppinJimbo what about Syndrome's backstory? That was pretty sad, the way he was rejected by Mr. Incredible when he was a kid, causing him to stop trusting superheroes. That's heartbreaking! But then again, Superman did something like that in Superman IV
Jasmine Johnston But what about walle when eve repairs him when he was crushed and then he recharge its battery but at the price when eve replace his main processor to save him wall-e got reset forgetting everything that he loved eve he had friends and act like he was programed just working without personality and eve got sad humming the song that wall-e played when she was in wall-e's house that was heartbreaking and about syndrome's story it was sad too even its death Because he died hating his once time favorite hero
My order would be: 5) Jessie's Scene 4) I would replace Coral's death with the scene where Eve thought Wall-E's soul had died at the end of the movie. He did regain his memories afterwards, but it was such a kick in the gut when she placed her hand in front of him to let him hold it - something he has wanted to do the entire time - and he just... walks away. While Coral's death was sad, she didn't have enough screen time for me to form an attachment to her to feel more affected. 3) Saying goodbye to Boo 2) Carl and Ellie. How often do movies make you tear up before the ten minute mark? Even better - how often does a sequence do just that without a single exchange of words? Masterpiece. 1) Toy Story 3. From Andy initially flinching when Bonnie reached out for Woody, to Woody's "So long, partner" at the end - it was perfection. For the record, the incinerator scene should be included as well. Pixar's manipulation of our heartstrings at its finest. I know a lot of people feel that Up deserves #1. By itself, I would place Up at the top. But thematically, TS3 is a powerful movie. It's not just the fact that I have watched Toy Story 1 and 2 as a child. Pixar wanted to convey a message with this film, and it was so honest and reverberating, I was left in both awe and tears at the end. From Jessie in TS2 to Lotso in TS3, there has already been a cumulation of moments pointing out the inevitable - one day, Andy will outgrow his toys. Likewise, we all posses that same fear of becoming obsolete. We all possess the same desire to be wanted and loved. But even in the face of rejection by those we love; even at the brink of imminent doom (how often do you find a metaphor for Hell as good as the incinerator in TS3?) , we can always be buoyed by friends that will be there for us through thick and thin. It's no coincidence that the theme song for the whole series is "You've got a friend in me." When I look at Andy driving off into the horizon, I see myself waving goodbye to my innocence and childhood. But like Woody, loyal, timeless and immortal, they will continue to live on even as I move on, as a bittersweet memory of my past. Forget the King's Speech, TS3 was the movie that deserved the Oscar for Best Picture in 2010. One of, if not the most, heartfelt farewell to a series of all time. My 2c. PS. did anyone notice that the final image of TS3 before it cuts to black is the same as the opening image in TS1 when the movie title pops out? Except that the clouds in TS1 were on the wallpaper in Andy's room, not the sky. It's almost as if it were metaphor for the journey of the toys' friendship - one that began in Andy's room and ended with the sky being the limit for possibilities.
Peter Drolet Agreed. Toy Story 3 is probably my favorite Pixar film because the Toy Story films were my favorites as a child. Also because I feel like Woody because my brother, who was very close to me, moved away to college.
deathstreaks Not really....... Carl and Ellie thought that they were going to have one, but when Ellie went to the doctor, she found out that she couldn't have one. (So technically I agree with hanscombe72.)
***** Hi,you should inform you before talking bro' ;) "Disney" was the only producter of the 43rd firsts disneys animated movies, then they associate themself with Pixar with their the masterpiece : Toy Story. There's actually 124 animated Disneys movies with their last one "Planes, Fire Rescue", including on the list.. Toy Story II, Findin' Nemo, Monster Inc', Toy Story III and UP. If you have any question go ahead :P Disney > all
IKR! Andy: Hey Bonnie how are all the toys I gave you? Bonnie: They are all great! Well except I did lose woody. Andy: .......... 💭 I trusted her to take care of him for me.....
look, i don't give a fuck if bonnie is 5 years old or a fetus or whatever age she is, and i'm concious it's a movie , she's just a character and she's not mean for not wanting a toy, but i'm still just gonna say this: At the end of toy story 4, all i wanted to do was shove that stupid ugly ass cheap fork up her asshole. good night everyone.
i'm crying so hard right now. i never cry. damn it disney. these weren't sad as a kid, but as an adult, those things apply to many things that happened to us in our lives, and you just can't help it. they were just movies, now they're real events. and the movies are our childhoods. which we can never go back to. THATS SAD.
Isac Campos i thought disney owned them or were kind of a team, coz they were working with the star wars guy george lucas then he dropped them then steve jojbbs funded them nd he made a deal with disney
Man finding Nemo gives mega mega nostalgia. I just remember loving that film and the opening scene so much and just the family relationship. Ugh 😭😭 now I have to rewatch
the ending of toy story 3 ALWAYYYS makes me cry, not just tear up, but actually cry 😭 I even just watched it a couple hours ago and still cried and now I'm crying again!! best trilogy ever in my opinion 💖😭
It's sang by Sarah McLachlan. She has a knack for making people cry with her voice as she also sings "Arms of the Angels" the song that's in those sad pet commercials
There are a lot of sad moments in Disney films such as Jessie's story, the opening scene of Finding Nemo, the scene where Bambi's mum dies and the incinerator scene in Toy Story 3, but for me, those 5 minutes of Up beat them all. It's incredible how an animated film can make you cry like a baby, I just cannot watch that scene without getting emotional. Pixar really outdid themselves. Everything about the scene is so poignant and beautiful and really makes you want a relationship like that when you're older. The phrase "still a better love story than Twilight" has never been more true. 5 minutes of amazing animation and a stunning composition to show how much Carl and Ellie loved each other. It's really moving to watch the ups and downs of their life despite the fact that they're animated characters. 5 Twilight films and I never once cried or felt the 'love' that Edward and Bella had for each other, and they're real people. It just goes to show how fantastic Disney and Pixar are at creating great films.
Couldn't agree more with your comment! I remember when I first saw those 5 minutes of UP I just sobbed and sobbed, I thought my heart would break. No movie before or after has has made me cry like that.
Mann.... I hate to admit it, but I cried watching these movies. Especially UP! My god ,whatta masterpiece it was.Gave me relationship goals. Thanks Pixar!!
monsters inc will always be remembered for my saddest movie the way she just wants to play shes so pure and full of joy without a care in the world but when she opens that door and hes not there and she just wants to play but she doesn't understand, my its so sad
Anyone notice how at the end of toy story 3, the clouds at the very end of the scene are the same ones that are at the beginning of the first toy story.... perfect
i actually cried at the part of monster inc when he said "i have to go" "i have to go" was the last thing my girlfriend said before she suicided i still look at her pic everyday and everyday i get a bit closer to her and one day i'll be with her again
jeez your comment made me cry on its own :'''( i was crying from number three... i thought i could make it, having seen the other two and only sniffling... but its too hard...
I got to be honest like i never cried over a comment before like i honestly barely released it out on ts3 but never on a comment btw im sorry for your loss man :/
Ow, I feel terribly sorry for you. I've never been in a relationship yet I have shed a tear just due to a girl I deeply adored rejecting me, I can only imagine the pain you are going through. I wish you courage.
Whenever I watch a Disney or a Pixar movie that has a touching moment I cry with no shame cause it's a touching moment I sometimes try to resist it cause I don't want to get embarrassed and yeah
One moment that will make me cry every time without fail is when Andy takes Woody out of the cardboard box. The young girl tries to hold it and Andy pulls back, almost subconsciously. It just tells me how much Woody means to him. It's the little character nuances that Pixar will always be careful to add. It makes it mean so much more to me.
cloudtanooki alot of years happen until the priest was tired of working as a priest so he became a doctor.the only thing I'm confused is how the horse did he not die? I mean he was old when he was the priest and alot of years happen when it was Carl and Ellie married life and he still is alive. Past live?
The beginning to Up is so powerful. Great plans in life get delayed by life time and time again and sometimes it is over before you get to do it. Live each day to its fullest all.
I'm finding all of these movies again. I watched them with my boys as they grew up, and now I'm watching them with my 2 year old grandson. I used to cry then and I'm crying again now. I think the Sarah McLachlan "When She Loved Me" gets me the worst. But they are all sad, memorable moments. When I watch them with my grandson, we both sigh as he sits on my lap. Thanks Pixar!
Well Dreamworks did inspire a lot of emotion upon the release of Anastasia. But Dreamworks was also daring enough to maim its characters on screen and provide mature content that harkened back to the golden era of disney animation. And sadly pixar has not had the best run of films as of late...
***** My opinion only, but the Cars franchise is better than the HTTYD franchise (but not by much). Cars 1 = 7/10 Cars 2 = 10/10 Overall = 8.5/10 HTTYD 1 = 6/10 HTTYD 2 = 10/10 Overall = 8/10
Can someone please tell me why I clicked on this? Because I managed to bearly keep it toghther during When Somebody Loved Me and the start of Finding Nemo but lost it at the ending to Toy Story 3 and now I can't stop. I mean them feels... Oh, don't even get me started on what Up does to me...
Me before watching the toy story 3 ending scene: why do people get emotional over animated films? Me who now has seen the ending: *cries rivers of tears*
I don't know if I'm too old for Up or something but that one doesn't get me as much as TS3 or Monsters inc. Monsters inc was one of my first movies as a kid so that always brings back memories. And Toy Story 3 is sad because it makes you remember your childhood and how those days are over.
I would say it's more that you emphasize with monsters inc and toy story than up. Everyone's gone through saying goodbye, but few have experienced the death of the love of their life.
Ben it maybe a generation thing...and mind you Toy Story has a longer history with viewers as well. Not to say Up didn’t have a sad moment too...but TS will always be my childhood because I was just like Andy!
Up is good but nothing gets me like the first scene with Sarah MacLachlan "When She loved Me." Playing under that blanket with the flashlight. Man that is childhood at it's finest. So sad to think how those times slip away from us. I'm gonna go hug and kiss my kids while they sleep now. And wipe away all these tears.
Whenever I see that clip from toy story 3, it always makes me cry. Maybe its because I remember seeing the first and second movie when I was just a little kid. And now seeing Andy giving away his toys.... WAH! :*
Toy story 2 made me cry so much becuase of jessie back story how emily forgot about her and how she gave her away makes me cry so much I'm defiantly keeping my dolls😭😭
I start Sobbing when Andy says "Thanks Guys" like he knew they were real then he drives away
Woody: "So Long Buddy"
So long parter
In Spanish he says "Goodbye, cowboy".

the whole movie is just pure sadness. the joys are at the endings.

Toy Story is probably the best movie sequels from Pixar. It really made me burst into tears everytime watching its ending, no matter how many times I have watched it.
Oh, I think maybe I took my toy days for granted, I don't even recall when they ended.
crying cause I'm 18 why does time fly so fast
18 is still very young. Wait until you are in your 30s...
What you you doing now that your almost 20
Lol you’re 20 now. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL! (Jk please don’t shoot me)

Okay Cyde.
Aka: Destiny
GamerXpert0202 normally I never cry during movies then Pixar decided to release Coco... it broke me 😭
I haven’t even watched the toy story movies but at that clip in ts3 still makes my eyes wet
I feel you man, I don't cry as muts too but man these movies where difficult to watch without crying
Nerdy Gamer GODDAM COCO ALMOST MAKE ME CRY WHICH NONE OF THEM MANAGED TO DO

Who knew Salty water dropped from your eyes because of a lamp
Hynes & Clearwater Buzz finding out he's just a toy is in my opinion one of the most heartbreaking Pixar moments and it's from their first movie too!
Is it bad that I didn’t I mean it made me sad he it made me more happy and hopeful
And I cried again when Carl saw that Ellie had put pictures of them in her "Things I'm Going To Do" part of her adventure book and signed it, "Thanks for the adventure, now go have a new one! Love, Ellie."
That was so sad. ;_;
if this was made nowadays it would need to include Bing Bong's "take her to the moon for me" from Inside Out!
Raptor Jesus and Dory finding her parents in Finding Dory
Squirtlebot 2002 SPOILERZ!!111!
It was sad but it didn't make me cry sjsjsk
That is literally one of the ONLY Pixar movies that made me cry, the other one being Toy Story 2. Both had me crying for the downfall of innocent childhood, the loss of innocents and all the things that go away when you grow up. So sad...
I'm not ready to grow up! But it's happening. And even though it's hard to let go, childhood memories will always be with us.
Lightning's Crash in Cars 3 and later Doc's Crash in a Flashback at Daytona Beach in 1954
I was in the theater watching Up. The guy next to me started bursting out crying. When I asked him whats wrong he said " My wife died of cancer 2 months ago, we were married for 46 years, I held her hand while she died, her last words were " These were the best 46 years of my life, I love you" It was his anniversary when she died.
Omg I'm literally tearing up!!!! That is the saddest thing I've ever heard😭😭😭😭😭😭
that is so sad i just burst out in tears
OH MY GOD! Up just got more depressing.
Dang that's devastating.
+Mother Russia It really doesn't. Why must you be that person...
No matter how funny pixar is, they always make you cry at some moments.
*because... Emily was just the same, she was my whole world...* -Jessie
*I will never let anything happen to you, Nemo* -Marlin
*So long, partner* -Woody
*Thanks for the adventure- now go have a new one!* - Ellie
Don't forget "Goodbye Boo"
Take her to the Moon for me-- Bing Bong
You forgot "Kitty has to go."
To infinity……. -Buzz
……..and beyond. -Woody
I honestly didn’t want him too give his toys to that girl :(
Especially now knowing what she did to Woody 😢
@@watergirl929 well i think it symbolizes growing up and looking for the next generation, even if they are different.
Because of that scene in Toy Story 2 I still have not gotten rid of my Jessie doll. I went through my old toys recently, and I couldn't bring myself to get rid of any one of them T_T Instead I will save them for my future children!
I'm in the same boat, bro
if you even have children {:
Soreejillah haha me too! I still have a few of my toys Im saving for my children
Agh! Your comment is making me cry!
same here!
When I saw Up as the last one I was like "Oh god. Not this one".
Faye Stiffler my words exactly. This one always gets me in the feels, and I dont't really cry all that often
The ending of toy story 3 makes me cry every time I see it
jairius Himes Same here.
The beginning of up is sad to me, the whole montage when his wife dies
MY EYEBALLS ARE RELEASING STRANGE LIQUIDS! SEND HELP!
Mine too!! Maybe it's contagious!!!😷😵
Jessie Letta what is this water in my eye that's leaking, am I dying?
***** I always thought it was my happiness, escaping from my eyes, delivered by fairys :p
Jessie Letta You Are Actually Crying
Oh that's just blood you'll be ok
When Andy said "So long partner" I cried my eyes out, because its like saying "So long Childhood"😭
woody*
At 07:43 When Woody "waves goodbye" at Andy and he sucks in his breath and realizes this is it....it's goodbye to his friends. You can't hold it back any longer.
The montage on "UP" is a brilliant piece of work. A masterpiece in storytelling. All the emotion and with no words. Simply brilliant. In tears at the end and not ashamed to say so.
I hear they might make a toy story 4. In my opinion, it is completely unnecessary. I know the writers said it will be about a different group of toys, but it will still ruin an original classic for me.
They actually are. It's coming out in 2017
Kat Studios I felt Toy Story 3 was completely unnecessary, and IMO that movie was brilliant. I trust Pixar; just look at their track record.
ElmerFudd16 I don't know man, Toy Story 4 is going to be a romantic comedy apparently. Seems like it's drfting from what made the Toy Story trilogy so damn good, and it doesn't seem quite right to me. However, we can only wait till the film is out to judge.
Here's what they should do:
Cancel Toy Story 4. Make a TV show about the toys' adventures under Bonnie's ownership, like little vingettes about their time there. That way, they don't ruin the movies, but we still get more material and it'd probably be more entertaining than anything on Disney Channel now.
FlareNetworkC i think the only way toy story 4 would work is if another time skip happens bonnie is about to go to college and she'll be in the same position as andy is on the thrid, they go to a crazy adventure, and at the end they go back tto andy, but this time he's married and has a kid and the kid will play with them, and toys will be kept in andy's family and descendants, and that would be the end
person: hey I bet you 10 bucks you can't watch this with out crying
me:*looks at title and hands over 10 bucks*
person: but you didn't even watch the video
me: just take it, Pixar made me cry over two volcanoes I'm not doing this
I don't blame you!
Your still valid as a man cause everybody does this
The volcanoes hit me hard. I feel you.
Is nobody gonna talk about how Andy hesitates when Bonnie goes to grab Woody?
Yup if he ever found out he would have regret it.
Andy should've brought Woody AND Buzz to college! If he found out how Bonnie neglected Woody, he'd be SOOOOOOOOOO disappointed...
Dang... someone must be chopping onions...
Sir Isaac why im not crying then? (Yeah, Im late
@Sir Isaac STFU BITCH!!!!
Sir Isaac Yep, Squidward put ‘em there,
Jesus Jessie is tearing my heart out.
4:05 - 8:35 made me cry
Up was probably the only ever movie that made me cry
That movie was more happy to me... idk it was sentimental not sad
I really wish they didn’t make Toy Story 4, it ruins the perfect ending to a perfect trilogy.
I’m still gonna watch it tho lol
Isaiah John it’s not fair how they can just leech of my sentiments.
Isaiah John the movie is actually good
And the ending is fine
Aaron Forest I heard it was, I haven’t seen it yet but I’m shocked
Lol for me, Toy Story 4 is already out, I actually watched it today. Just gotta say, in my opinion, the ending is really sad. Like I was borderline botta cry 😢
It honestly kinda beautiful how a film can manage to make us feel sadnesses for a character
And it's even more beautiful that thay make us feel these things for characters that aren't even human.
To date, Up has the saddest intro of any Disney movie
it tops Bambi for cryin' out loud
IT HAS ME TEARING UP!!!
(damn you Up...makin' people like me shed a tear...XD)
Don't click play Don't clikc play don't click play *clicks* NOOOOOOOO *bombarded with feels*
I already started crying in the first minute
Ariana Stroecker neither me........................
Up gets me every time when he buys the plane ticket then she never gets to the top of the hill..they were so close 😭
ah I cry every time OAO
i knowww like that bit always makes me cry because they had been planning this their whole lives and never got there and then when it was finally about to happen and start this adventure they had always said they would have ellie didn't make it and ahdsfkfsajsadhakjhkhjhkj THIS FILM HURTS ME IN SO MANY WAYS
I cried on every part. This bring back all my childhood memories cause I seen every single one of this movies
I think that The Incredibles is one of the Pixar movies that didn't have an extremely sad scene like the other movies. Except the part where Bob thinks that his family died on the plane crash but that didn't get to me as much as Toy story or UP did.
WusspoppinJimbo • That's true. It was an amazing movie but there wasn't really anything sad in it
If we actually thought they died it might have been more impactful but we knew they were going to be okay.
WusspoppinJimbo what about Syndrome's backstory? That was pretty sad, the way he was rejected by Mr. Incredible when he was a kid, causing him to stop trusting superheroes. That's heartbreaking!
But then again, Superman did something like that in Superman IV
Jasmine Johnston
But what about walle when eve repairs him when he was crushed and then he recharge its battery but at the price when eve replace his main processor to save him wall-e got reset forgetting everything that he loved eve he had friends and act like he was programed just working without personality and eve got sad humming the song that wall-e played when she was in wall-e's house that was heartbreaking and about syndrome's story it was sad too even its death Because he died hating his once time favorite hero
My order would be:
5) Jessie's Scene
4) I would replace Coral's death with the scene where Eve thought Wall-E's soul had died at the end of the movie. He did regain his memories afterwards, but it was such a kick in the gut when she placed her hand in front of him to let him hold it - something he has wanted to do the entire time - and he just... walks away. While Coral's death was sad, she didn't have enough screen time for me to form an attachment to her to feel more affected.
3) Saying goodbye to Boo
2) Carl and Ellie.
It's no coincidence that the theme song for the whole series is "You've got a friend in me."
When I look at Andy driving off into the horizon, I see myself waving goodbye to my innocence and childhood.
I have to agree about WALL-E. That moment when she put the components back into WALL-E and he powered up, and he didn't seem to remember EVE...
Peter Drolet Agreed. Toy Story 3 is probably my favorite Pixar film because the Toy Story films were my favorites as a child. Also because I feel like Woody because my brother, who was very close to me, moved away to college.
you seen GOTG yet that was heart wrenching within the first ten minutes and is technically disney now
The bit with the clouds was the bit that actually set me off, believe it or not. It really caps the whole thing off. Go Pixar! Whooooooo!
That scene in Up starts off happy but then gets painful when the baby dies and when Ellie stumbles and falls.
I don't she lost a baby - I think she was diagnosed as not being able have one.
hanscombe72 Since they painted the baby room, it's fairly certain that they were expecting a baby - she was pregnant.
deathstreaks Not really....... Carl and Ellie thought that they were going to have one, but when Ellie went to the doctor, she found out that she couldn't have one. (So technically I agree with hanscombe72.)
yeah who would honestly fix a whole room up, before attempting to have one..? Though it firts kind of since they didn't try again after that failed
deathstreaks they were planning to have a baby but she couldn't have thats why the doctor was kinda explaining why she cant have a baby.
I’m 16 and my friends call me childish for loving Disney!
You’re never too old for Disney! Ever.
Facts
I am 20 years old girl and I and my male friend, who is 21, love Toy Story so much. So yeah, never too old for Disney 💞
Noone obviously, I turned 20 on May 11, 2021.
GOD DAMNIT DISNEY!!! WHY DO YOU LIKE TOYING WITH MY EMOTIONS?!
Oops, GOD DAMNIT DISNEY/PIXAR!!
Tim McBrine that's better
They're the production studios
***** Hi,you should inform you before talking bro' ;) "Disney" was the only producter of the 43rd firsts disneys animated movies, then they associate themself with Pixar with their the masterpiece : Toy Story. There's actually 124 animated Disneys movies with their last one "Planes, Fire Rescue", including on the list.. Toy Story II, Findin' Nemo, Monster Inc', Toy Story III and UP. If you have any question go ahead :P Disney > all
Pixar makes the films, but Disney distributes them.
Man, Pixar knows how to kick you in the feels with just one line
When Andy played with his toys for the last time, that hit me right in the childhood. I almost cried in the theater at that part. ;(
same and also when Sully had to leave Boo in monster's inc it made me cry for an hour
I really want to know what Boo looks like now after the cliffhanger in Monsters, Inc.
Tsunade Same here!!!!
Maybe Pixar will do one of their shorts and show her and Sully reunited. We can only hope. :P
that would be the best thing ever
Imagine Andy coming home from collage and asking bonnie were woody is 💔
Where not were
"He's in a better place" -Bonnie
IKR! Andy: Hey Bonnie how are all the toys I gave you?
Bonnie: They are all great! Well except I did lose woody.
Andy: .......... 💭 I trusted her to take care of him for me.....
look, i don't give a fuck if bonnie is 5 years old or a fetus or whatever age she is, and i'm concious it's a movie , she's just a character and she's not mean for not wanting a toy, but i'm still just gonna say this:
At the end of toy story 4, all i wanted to do was shove that stupid ugly ass cheap fork up her asshole.
good night everyone.
Imagine all these typos
i'm crying so hard right now. i never cry. damn it disney. these weren't sad as a kid, but as an adult, those things apply to many things that happened to us in our lives, and you just can't help it. they were just movies, now they're real events. and the movies are our childhoods. which we can never go back to. THATS SAD.
Isac Campos disney pixar
Isac Campos i thought disney owned them or were kind of a team, coz they were working with the star wars guy george lucas then he dropped them then steve jojbbs funded them nd he made a deal with disney
Isac Campos my bad papas comics
Calm down, BITCH!
GATORADE ME BITCH, with your tears ^^
When I saw Ellie die, I said "Who left this bowl of onions here?"
lol
Asian ninjas
Nevada Rail Productions lol
7:36 They're all having fun...
When suddenly
Andy gets noscoped.
I would be the one to blame...'w'
Big Oof
Man finding Nemo gives mega mega nostalgia. I just remember loving that film and the opening scene so much and just the family relationship. Ugh 😭😭 now I have to rewatch
"up" better love story than 50 shades of grey ahahah
heyitschanel is 50 shades a love story? I thought it was just mild pornography.
heyitschanel my last trip to the toilet is a better love story than 50 shades...
***** it showed the relationship the old man had with his wife since they were little. He was there for her. Thats true love
heyitschanel 50 shades of grey is filth.
***** you have a point right there
the ending of toy story 3 ALWAYYYS makes me cry, not just tear up, but actually cry 😭 I even just watched it a couple hours ago and still cried and now I'm crying again!! best trilogy ever in my opinion 💖😭
and the fact that I watched toy story 1,2,& 3 all in a row 💔💔💔
Rebecca Vicencio EXACTLY! I love Toy Story!! It's my favorite Pixar movie (T u T)
The bit when andy gave woody away and played with them again for one last time was the moment my childhood ended
Your childhood is coming back in June
The song that Jessie sings always made me sad. It gives a beautiful message... its such a beautiful song ❤️😞
It's sang by Sarah McLachlan. She has a knack for making people cry with her voice as she also sings "Arms of the Angels" the song that's in those sad pet commercials
Honestly same
Jessie's scene always makes me run and hug my old stuffed animals.....
Pixar: making audiences cry since 1995...
Outstanding comment
I wish I could favourite this or just keep this comment alive
You know what? Maybe I'll save this in my personal Hard drive and make a time capsule so I can show it maybe 10-15 years later ;)
Couldn't agree more with your comment! I remember when I first saw those 5 minutes of UP I just sobbed and sobbed, I thought my heart would break. No movie before or after has has made me cry like that.
Thank you for bringing up Up, now I'm literally crying😥😥😥
Mann.... I hate to admit it, but I cried watching these movies. Especially UP! My god ,whatta masterpiece it was.Gave me relationship goals. Thanks Pixar!!
im going to go punch a wall to get my manliness back.
"See ya partner", that part got me good.
monsters inc will always be remembered for my saddest movie the way she just wants to play shes so pure and full of joy without a care in the world but when she opens that door and hes not there and she just wants to play but she doesn't understand, my its so sad
And they say The Fault in our Stars was depressing
B i t c h....
Toy Story 3 was such a good movie. Probably one of the best sequel movies out there.
Anyone notice how at the end of toy story 3, the clouds at the very end of the scene are the same ones that are at the beginning of the first toy story.... perfect
I swear theres an invisible person blowing dirt it my eyes.
Lol
when you realize your childhoods over and the only way to see it is watching these
😭
i actually cried at the part of monster inc when he said "i have to go" "i have to go" was the last thing my girlfriend said before she suicided i still look at her pic everyday and everyday i get a bit closer to her and one day i'll be with her again
jeez your comment made me cry on its own :'''(
i was crying from number three... i thought i could make it, having seen the other two and only sniffling... but its too hard...
:/
I got to be honest like i never cried over a comment before like i honestly barely released it out on ts3 but never on a comment btw im sorry for your loss man :/
Ow, I feel terribly sorry for you. I've never been in a relationship yet I have shed a tear just due to a girl I deeply adored rejecting me, I can only imagine the pain you are going through. I wish you courage.
I'm so sorry.
-Step 1
Lay down.
-Step 2
Try not to cry.
-Step 3
Cry a lot...
Me: i wont cry.
Toy story 3: well, well, well we will see about that.
Toy story 3 sceen comes on.
Me: Mom whos chopping up unions?!?!
Whenever I watch a Disney or a Pixar movie that has a touching moment I cry with no shame cause it's a touching moment I sometimes try to resist it cause I don't want to get embarrassed and yeah
Well not every Disney and Pixar movies
One moment that will make me cry every time without fail is when Andy takes Woody out of the cardboard box. The young girl tries to hold it and Andy pulls back, almost subconsciously. It just tells me how much Woody means to him. It's the little character nuances that Pixar will always be careful to add. It makes it mean so much more to me.
Toy Story 3's ending had me crying a river ;-;
Same :'(((
same here
Same :'[
too much! I cried a river every time i wacth!
The 3 toy story movies are sad
Anyone notice the priest at the wedding in Up is also the doctor in the hospital?
Oliver Tran who needs Medical help when you have god
cloudtanooki alot of years happen until the priest was tired of working as a priest so he became a doctor.the only thing I'm confused is how the horse did he not die? I mean he was old when he was the priest and alot of years happen when it was Carl and Ellie married life and he still is alive. Past live?
Maybe it's his son?
I litteraly cried while rewatching all of these scenes
I am forever proud to say, This FREAKING made me cry!
8:27 when you stayed behind the same car for hours on a road trip and it goes the other direction
9:46 was so sad. Sully: Goodbye Boo. Boo: Kitty. Sully: Kitty has to go. That made cry like a baby!
Dreamworks can never make their audiences cry
Well Dreamworks did inspire a lot of emotion upon the release of Anastasia. But Dreamworks was also daring enough to maim its characters on screen and provide mature content that harkened back to the golden era of disney animation. And sadly pixar has not had the best run of films as of late...
Oh shut up Damon242, Pixar is awesome. Screw dreamworks! You even said they can't make an audience cry! Up is THE BEST by the way. The best.
Muffin Lizard! The how to train your dragon has alot of sad scenes. And let's not forget Cars 1, 2 and the new three coming up
***** My opinion only, but the Cars franchise is better than the HTTYD franchise (but not by much).
Cars 1 = 7/10
Cars 2 = 10/10
Overall = 8.5/10
HTTYD 1 = 6/10
HTTYD 2 = 10/10
Overall = 8/10
***** Cars 2 was a masterpiece. It gets a well-deserved 10/10.
Welcome to the salty splatoon how tough are ya?
I watched the opening scene of Up and didn’t cry
Uh, right this way sir sorry to keep you waiting
I wouldn't let him in, he's clearly lying
😂😂
The Monsters inc. one always gets my crying :(
SAME!
Marvel: we made men cry when Tony died
Every Pixar movie: hold my beer
"So long......partner...." GAAAAH it just tugs on your heartstrings!!! TT^TT
Can someone please tell me why I clicked on this? Because I managed to bearly keep it toghther during When Somebody Loved Me and the start of Finding Nemo but lost it at the ending to Toy Story 3 and now I can't stop.
I mean them feels...
Oh, don't even get me started on what Up does to me...
i can tell you why it make you cry :(
pikminlover1015 why
Bobby Mugo it the sad moments in movie that makes you cry easily
even for me
Me before watching the toy story 3 ending scene: why do people get emotional over animated films?
Me who now has seen the ending: *cries rivers of tears*
The toy story 3 ending was my favourite 😔
Damn it Up.... Every single time....
The movie is about Up.. The beginning brings your mood down
Pixar, the Master in Opening my Factory of Tears.
When I was younger, I actually was not able to watch that scene because I would probably flood the house! I always had to skip that bit.
Whenever I see that clip from toy story 3, it always makes me cry. Maybe its because I remember seeing the first and second movie when I was just a little kid. And now seeing Andy giving away his toys.... WAH! :*
I've forgotten how sad Up's beginning was, Keep feeling like an idiot every time I watch these and I start crying.
Toy story 2 made me cry so much becuase of jessie back story how emily forgot about her and how she gave her away makes me cry so much I'm defiantly keeping my dolls😭😭
Keeping my old toys from my childhood too 😭😭😭
