Beautiful set. Oh man, there was a sweet moment in time when The Mae-Shi, Ex Models and Les Savy Fav all existed simultaneously. Rock was so fun.
I remember being at this show. I was 19 and had just moved to DTLA. some of the funnest times at The Smell.
seeing the Mae Sheet almost brought a tear to my eyes.
That's awesome! The one time they came to my city after I'd heard of them was 21+ and I was underage, this performance was the main reason I sought out this DVD when it came out.
I've probably listened to this performance 100+ times. It's so good
holy shit this show rules
This is amazing!
Fucking jackpot!
Bill gray 4 ever
tis is awesome
Correct me if I'm wrong. But I think the members are:
*_Jonathan Gray_* - vocals, keyboards, synthesizers, omnichord, and tambourine.
*_Brad Breeck_* - vocals, rainbow sheet, and frontflip at 4:33. (also does rhythm guitars, synthesizers, programming, additional drums, and percussion.)
*_Jeff Byron_* - vocals, lead guitars, computers, programming, sampling.
*_Bill Gray_* - vocals, bass guitar, bass synth.
*_Jacob Cooper_* - vocals, drums, miniature drum-kit and percussion.
I think! But, then again, correct me if I'm wrong! 😂
That’s accurate for this lineup!
@@TheChodeman they did say there were six but I don’t know what he does.
Hate to be that guy but… original lineup >>>
They’re really two different bands. I love the original lineup records but HLLLYH was my first exposure to them and it’s undeniably got jams even if they don’t have that same petulant sneer that makes Terrorbird etc. so great
its a tie imo
