- A video filmed on Portobello Beach for a client last night.
Dance videos are something I've never done before, so when the oppurtunity arrose I took it!
Rebecca is a talented singer / dancer / actor at The MGA Academy in Edinburgh, Scotland. Although not her original dance, parts of it have been improvised - it is performed with so much passion!

How did you colour grade this? Would love to see a tutorial from you. I am new to video editing 😬
Thanks Pia :D I colour grade in sections so for example I will first fix my footage back to bassline, and then I will sort the contrast / exposure, and then selective colours (ie their hue, saturation and luminance) and then I can tweak Lift, Gamma, Gain (+ shadows / midtones / highlights) . After this I will be more specific with power windows and tracking - in Davinci you can also key frame a colour grade
What framerate do you record in and timeline do you work in?

Sony 35 or sigma 30mm for a6400 if i have gimbal?
you'll be happy with either lens! obviously the 35mm has a slightly tighter FOV though. The sigma is a little bit wider, but has 1.4 as opposed to 1.8 so that helps maintain the shallow DOF (whilst still being slightly wider FOV)

Hey I use Cine4 with default settings apart from the saturation which I increase to +2. If 4k, I reduce the sharpness to - 2

Can you make a tutorial how you expose and grade your video?
Maybe in the future I am still finding my own methods / flow for how I expose / grade so not really in a position to teach others at the moment!
