i'm not one to murder hobo, and as long as a ship doesn't shoot me, i won't shoot them. even in pyro. but i do operate on a trust no one when it comes to fps encounters. while doing one of those missions i had a prowler turn up and start shooting the tower and random other areas before landing right behind my ship. seemed like they wanted to check out the cargo hold of my zeus cl so i took afew pot shots to get their attention before running around. jumped into my ship, taking out the prowler before flying away just to be sure. funny thing was about half an hour later i went to the same location, saw the wreckage, went to check it out to find the body of who ever it was and found they were rocking the same sniper and rifle selection i make myself, so scored some free ammo in the process. didn't think of it at the time but i probably should have took their armor and guns too.
I feel safer in pyro than in stanton. In stanton, i still have to worry about people showing up to kill me, but i have the threat of a broken law system hanging over my head. In pyro, i have no fear of this except in moments im moving boxes or the like, because i dont have the broken law system over my head to disincentivize self defence, or really, preemptive hits. That said, i had some fun encounters early on in yhe patch, where people would land to grab cargo and we helped each other load our ships before heading out. Im guessing by this point though, most of us who would be willing to do so have learned we have to shot first
🤣 Every single video I see featuring Pyro just solidifies my decision to never go to Pyro ... no matter how much more Profi I could make and no matter how good it looks. Gotta stay in Stanton until another System with - at least - the same security as Stanton releases. XD

BUT I have a problem with the complete lack of consequences. Unless the prison is bugged, you can get out in minutes, no matter how bad of a person you are. @sleepfishl yup, agree with you about consequences, rep will be very important down the road, it won't matter to griefers, but for game immersion it will be important. IMHO I hope that players that make a habit of killing other players will be marked and that they can be engaged without incurring a CS. Right now you can't even defend yourself or you get one. Everyone wants realism until it comes to that irl, humans kill each other, I keep hearing that, but there has always been a penalty to openly doing so and if the game is 90/10 NPC as CR stated it's supposed to be those NPC's should / would in a real world, engage those players that have a reputation and that reputation would follow you (even after dying or jail you should still be marked as an outlaw as in game death is not a deterrent )
I had a group of guys trying to follow me into the elevator at checkmate and I can only assume it was them rushing in in the hopes that I had already clicked the button so that once at my hanger they could kill me, that and the random dude that came flying into my hanger on a dragon fly as the doors shut when I landed and I didn’t see him till I got outta my ship and he was shooting me, the murder hobos in pyro are crazy

ive been making about 1.5 million an hour grinding 111k ship bounty missions in pyro (when you found a server they worked on in 4.0). The only problem is half the time they wouldn't complete when you killed the target, they seem to work better in 4.0.1 though.
you cant use external doors/elevators unless you are in vparty with owner, or ship is unlocked, if none of those then you have to damage the door, elevators are tricky tho for damaging them and them still working after.
@@DTOXTV it might have done before i started, also that might have been a bug when you did that, game is unpredictable, you even have to learn procedures to salvage ship weapons from player ships and have them actually go into storage from your FE :D
I do the same thing. So many times I have landed and had my ship destroyed. Every single time someone does that, I down them, squat over their faces and ask them why they did that. The only difference, I don't hard death them, I just talk mad shit until they backspace lol. I hope someday we get better communication systems. I would love pyro if people actually communicated instead of this KOS mentality. Sure, there will always be locations for KOS, and sometimes you have a ship full of stuff that requires a KOS mentality, but seal clubbing starter ships, and shooting landed vehicles... I really hope people get that out of their systems soon, because there is nothing to gain.
Yeah i mentioned this in my previous video, murder hoboing is all well and good for now but it'll get boring quick and detracts from more interesting interactions with players.
this will eventually lead to doxxing and ddosing because ppl dont take being jumped well, even if its just a game ppl dgaf one bit lol, and these joke devs could do nothing to stop such behaviour since that's the kinda gameplay they encourage for anyway (cargo hauling is glitched half the time and certain components can only be obtained through griefing).
each 1 of the lockers on the connie are individual storage spaces, you should check them all in future, me and my buds all chose a locker each and store our stuff seperately.

would it be too much to ask if you added your PC specs to the desc :D you seem to get quite buttery FPS in combat... I have normal fps of about 50-120, but when ships start shooting, i get drops and freezes down to 10-20fps
I actually started using a combination of University of Stanton's settings guide recently, try some from this: th-cam.com/video/ZjEu78p4gvk/w-d-xo.html I also have Contrast slightly up at 55.

M8 mine runs perfect mostly, i7 13700k, 32g ddr5 and a 4070. I only ever get issues when the servers are busy. So I try to play eu at like 2am. Been late to work a lot because of that too 😂
Its so sad - Pyro could be so much fun for all players, but due to the bad design decisions CIG permanently makes, its only fun for PVP murder hobos...

Fun to watch, rubbish to play if its not your scene. I simply wont shoot first, poor eyesight makes it unrealistic to see someone soon enough and as such Pyro offers nothing.
shame its going KOS, feel CIG need to put systems in place where KOS is not the only/best policy even if its something as simple to start with as getting negative rep in a faction if the person you kill has high rep with said faction. all for contextual PvP, just not KoS PvP

Implants are rare and expensive, give stat boosts and abilities (but not good enough on their own to just destroy people), they are destroyed on death but can be extracted from a live individual.

Some players are so afraid of Pyro they refuse to even fly through the jump gate. The fact is you are going to get killed sometimes, but not every time. And those times you win an FPS combat is well worth it.
I never lost my life because I was killed by another player in Pyro. And I was often in Pyro. So, it happens not that much I guess. But, I like the Escape of Tarkov vibes. And I fly as a sheriff sometimes to safe players. But as I said, never met another player who tried to kill me or others ;)
@@jwebxx You fly there long enough and it's going to happen. But I think the fear of getting killed is worse than actually getting killed for some people. I get killed by players often, but I like to run around in the contested zones so I don't mind.

Zero interest in going to PYRO. I never shoot unless shot at first, that's just my personality. I'd much rather help people than ruin their day. All that backers money spent on making a new star system dedicated to Murder Hobo's and Griefers. It even gives them sole access to the best ship components in the game so they can return to STANTON with way better gear than lawful players can get in STANTON. It will be interesting if the "shoot everyone you see on sight" style of play rubs off on everybody who tries to explore PYRO and eventually destroys the game as the other game play loops will become pointless. Player attitudes and behaviours introduced system wide in PYRO, might be what kills STAR CITIZEN in the long run. When I started playing years ago, the vast bulk of the community was friendly, helpful, and middle aged. As the game has developed and grown, many more younger people have joined but with a more antisocial attitude. Coming from playing twitch reflex kill everything games like Apex Legends, SCUM, BUPG Battlegrounds, Day Z, Escape from Tarkov, ect.... they are steadily transforming STAR CITIZEN into this type of game. Mining, Salvaging, Cargo Running, First Aid, Delivery missions... Why bother investing the large amounts of time needed when you can just gank anyone you come across and parasite off of them for your constantly needed ADHD induced dopamine rush. I fully understand Pyro is lawless and dangerous, but no where in the world do people kill everyone else they see on sight... we would have gone extinct in the Neolithic age...
I love how pirates justify piracy...Face it man your kinda lazy. Plus, you are a killer. But the good news for us Star Citizens is that what goes around comes back at you and if I ever see you, I won't be trying to communicate. You guys shoot First and explain in video's
