If Topic makes it past 12 they better be calling Sacramento and Portland to move up to 13 or 14 to select him. Preferably Portland at 14 to also acquire Anfernee Simons in a deal but either way I think teams who want him at that point are trying to trade up.

i rarely have said this through the years, but i trust the front office ! they dont always hit home runs and i get why, the rosters fit seems to never quite line up with free agents or the picks available. i do see that we have playable talent that will never see the floor during meaningful parts of the game and would like to see them go to homes where they can showcase their talents.

Call the Knicks now and offer them Cole or Wendell + 1st round pick next season for the 24th pick. With pick 18 we draft a center and the 24th pick we draft Baylor Scheierman. Or we sign Heartenstein as a FA and with the 18th and 24th we draft any combo of pg, sg, and sf.
Let’s not get so guard centric focused. There are so many guards rhat can be had, let shore up our Center, there ste less centers available. Ima say it… i want Zach eddey, Eddey is ready right now to come play. Ole school center the league is slowly shifting
My hesitancy to draft a center is that I don't think any of them are ready to start. With Wendell Carter likely to miss 15-20 games, you need a third center you are confident can start.

I don't think Edey fits the Magic at all. He has no mobility or versatility defensively.
@@LockedOnMagic hmmmm let's see.. magic staff loves tall athletes.. he's 7'4 protests the rim.. has pretty good foot work in the paint offensively.. dominated the center for uconn who projected higher. And also nc state big man who weighs more then edey. .. very good hook shot... good passer. Mean while we got Carter who plays lazy uninspired basketball when not getting the touches he wants.. edey also plays thru contact.. I think he's a perfect fit fa the O
